For what I use my consoles for which is everything but gaming lately, the XB is far superior.

yeah. not really even sure why I responded as I know you don't use it much for gaming anymore.......just felt like being a PS4 fanboy for whatever reason

If I were to actually game anymore, the PS4 would definitely be my choice. The first party library was insanely good in 2017...didn’t play one game though

It’s really just the NFL integration for me and ease of use for other media apps. Now with Kodi I may need to install that and give it a go.

Yeah, the Kodi app is in version 1 and is more ceremonial then functional. It'll get better though.

Xbox has the NBC app on it, but doesn't have the contract to stream premier league which is like 90% of the reason they exist. If they had that I'd buy an Xbox in a heartbeat

Dualshock 4 trade in deal at Gamestop this week:

Normal trade value for a black DS4 is $0.01 at Gamestop. This week (until 2/27) they guarantee $30 credit towards a new steel black or midnight blue DS4 when you trade in any DS4.

If you have a controller that sort of works but is on its last legs or if you have the first generation DS4 and want to upgrade to the new one (some slight changes/better overall performance) this is probably a good option. The $30 credit brings the controller price down to $35 - this is slightly better to or equal to what a normal new controller goes for when it is on sale - but the sale price for these new versions at Gamestop is $65 retail.

I remember I used to throw controllers and break them pretty routinely back in the NDL days when facing the likes of BsktbllJk, 6ftdeep, runthepound and of course Bud1vol.

Keyboards I knew better.

Controllers were expendable.
