thought today was much easier, i messed up again (SMH) putting the 3rd guess with same letter in same spot i knew was wrong

i picked audio to get alot of vowel clues and that helped alot knowing it was only 1 after i followed back with STARE. THANK helped get me the T first and to take away the TH possibility but i could have done better than use the A in the same spot like a dope. then the last line i knew it was T first and figured the vowel had to be second since i already used the H to prevent the TH possibility and TANGY just happened to be the first word that popped in my head. this was the fastest i ever finished, probably took me under 2 minutes. where as most days i spend like 5-10 min. so far i got 3 days on the 4th guess and 1 on the 5th.

Intentionally moved the letter I got right in the second guess to another spot to introduce additional letters for evaluation. Do other people do that?

I try not to but if I get to a point where I can't come up with a good word, I'll try that and change it up a bit to see if I can open up my yellows/greens.

1 word per day is the most annoyingly genius thing about this game. I absolutely hate it but if it wasn't this way, I woulda been done with this game in 1 day.

That was the first one I haven't gotten. Got the first letter right away. 2nd letter in the second game. and got the last letter in the 4th.

I've had a couple of days where I string it out a while. Today's word kinda came easily, mainly since I got the 1st letter on the 1st try.

But sometimes I'll do a step or 2, and if I'm struggling to find a good word for, say, step 3, I'll come back to it in a couple of hours. Not for any other reason than I have all the time in the world since it's only 1 per day.

I wouldn't move it, you'd get bet return if you don't use it. If you know the spot, go with a word that has 5 new letters. More info.

I started putting it into Excel a 2 days ago... shade it like it does in the game. It works better visually for me. On the site, you have to type the word straight across. If I put it into Excel, I can visually see the word with the known letters in place and build around it.
