maybe you're right, maybe not... doesnt really matter
My overall point is that unless everyone is on the same even playing field its hard to impose rules that are affected by things we dont really have any control over

100% agree as well. I think the market size part of the game is broke, same as merchandising profits. We average more than 14k more fans per game than Shelby but still lack in sales with them, even with a 12 game lead over them. Both fan loyalties are the same, he has a slightly larger market and has a 94 to 91 fan interest though.
You would think fan loyalty would tie in with fan interest and past performance (probably over the past 5-10 years). Sheltown, for instance, has barely been a .500 team with 1 playoff in the past 5 1/2 seasons but has a very GREAT loyalty (89 interest) whereas Chicago has been to the playoffs 3 times with a championship during that same time span is just AVERAGE (100 fan interest). If any team should have a good loyalty base it should be Chicago with their track record of winning.

Isn't that kinda what Fan Loyalty is though? Still coming to the games and buying merch even if the team sucks. Idk i think fan loyalty and interest work fine, its just market size that is weird and has an effect on too much

Wouldn't loyalty tie into past performances though? I use Chicago as the prime example, they have missed the playoffs only 7 times in the past 42 seasons. Nobody is going to be loyal to a perennial loser.

not really. I mean I am 'loyal' to the Miami Dolphins and they haven been good since the '70s or 80's

Chicago's market is average because he moved from Richmond. When he was Richmond it was very large or whatever the wording is. The market size will change but veeeery slowly.

Market size changes but slowly. Consistent winning is the way to build it and I mean slowly as in decade plus.
Owner personalities do not mean jack shit in our league. Owner cash given/taken away is 100% based on how much surplus or debt you have. Bowie's owner will probably give him 100+ million this offseason because his debt is so large but that same exact owner would take away 50 million from him if he was over the cash limit.
There are a couple other things I wanted to clear up but I'll wait until there is separate winter topic threads so discussions can be more focused. From what I read in this Qazhby is all over it.

Yes sir, I've changed my mind on some and won't be putting all up at once as I don't think it'll be effective. Probably gonna pick 2 or 3 most important ones to me and go with them. That being said others can always create topics too.
