Wow. Just saw that too. Gotta imagine health or something. Sucks for OU unless they have a shining OC or up and comer?

Former NCAA cheese choice for a good cheap NDL team back in the day with a stud, James Hardy of Indiana has been found dead in a river.

Hardy was arrested in Los Angeles for resisting arrest in 2014 but a judge later ruled him mentally incompetent to stand trial.

It really sucks seeing him end up this way. He was so ridiculously talented in everything he did. He probably should have been Mr. Basketball in Indiana his senior year of high school. He actually went to IU on a basketball scholarship. One of the IU football fan sites has a weekly feature called the "White guy on Hardy Mismatch of the Week" because of the way he lit up Iowa's defense every year. I was watching one of the retrospectives of his IU career today and one of the TD highlights was from the Akron game his junior year that I took my then 4 year old son to. He scored that TD right in front of us and my kid was high fiving the guy sitting next to us. He was one of the best IU players of my lifetime. RIP.

Man I really miss the league. Nostalgia, I remember most of my teams and the games. Just not the same anymore
