Indiana
They should open up 4-0 with games against Southern Illinois, FIU, and Western Kentucky and at Wake. They'll lose to OSU at home, and probably at Michigan State. At Penn State, at Maryland, vs Iowa, and vs Michigan are toss up games in my opinion. They should beat Rutgers at home and Purdue in West Lafayette. That puts them at 6-6 with a chance at 7-8 wins if things go right.
The lines on both sides of the ball will be some of the best in IU history. Jason Spriggs is a legitimate NFL left tackle and DT Darius Latham will play in the NFL as well. The linebackers are some of the most talented that IU has had in my lifetime. Tegray Scales was everywhere the ball was as a true freshman. Antonio Allen is a three year starter at SS and Chase Dutra made a lot of plays at FS as a redshirt freshman. Nate Sudfeld will be back as a senior at QB and has NFL ability. They lost an all-time great at RB in Tevin Coleman but his backups were very good when they were given carries and they're getting a 1600 yard rusher in Jordan Howard from UAB. The biggest question on both sides of the ball is on the perimeter. They've recruited well at corner but they're young and will have to grow up quickly. The young WR's played a lot last year and played like freshmen and sophomores. Hopefully the early experience will pay off.

Not sure how many guys Western lost last season, but IU better not sleep on them.

LSU has a long and proud history of doing whatever the hell they want. i remember a story that the State senate and house would not fund a new football stadium. the school built the current stadium under the guise of new Dorms for the students! and after watching Fsu's spring game Golston is a very welcome addition to the FSU Team. and as to were have all the U of M fans gone? their are still a few of them around some where? i see a few u of m shirts now that they hired Harbaugh. but their pride is badly hurt after years of losses to all their rivals. MICHIGAN STATE, OSU, ND, Minn have all took huge chunks from the once proud program. they have invested all there chip's in Harbaugh and are praying he can deliver before he jumps back to the nfl! great time to be a spartan! GO STATE

Indiana will be a huge sleeper team in the upcoming season. They have a outstanding Coach. their defense will be greatly improved lead by them seasoned young DB's. one or two upsets and the whole state of Indiana will be going to a new year's day bowl game!

USC has no excuses this season to not win 10 games, especially with their weak pre season schedule.
Frankly I am at the point that if we don't play a game on New Years Day I am disappointed. Only way to rectify the disappointment is a sweep of ND and FUCLA, then it is always a good season.

I'm excited to have the WVU OC coming in, esp w the ridiculous depth we have at HB (Boom Williams, JoJo Kemp, and a few others). The key this year will be the young guys stepping up. Guys like Matt Elam and Blake Bone who have a year under their belt, and guys like Thaddeus Snodgrass who redshirted as big-time recruits and will finally get their chance.
The key this year for us will be having one of our QBs step up and win the job, and getting Ryan Timmons the ball more. He's got 4.3 speed and we have to find ways to get him the ball; with the way WVU did that for their speedsters, I don't think that will be a problem.

True, but unlike in Brown's offense, where they only got the ball via passes, WVU has found ways to get their WRs the ball on more screens, option plays, WR runs, etc

For the Noles, the 1st 4 games (Texas State, USF, BC, and Wake) are a good warm up. Odds are we see both Maguire and EG in those games, but I think the last of Maguire we see is vs Miami on October 10th and EG takes over the job then. Frankly I think this game could mean everything for a team that really is rebuilding, if the Noles win this game, stay pretty healthy and have the bit of luck you need, they could very well have no more than 1 losses on the way to the ACC champ game. On the flip side, if they fall to Miami that could set them up for a poor slide with games vs GT, Clemson, and Florida coming up and the always dangerous NC State. This very well could be a 4 loss team if that happens. Honestly I wish one of the younger guys could somehow win the QB job and set them up for the next couple seasons, as even if the Noles are sitting at 13-0 with another ACC crown I don't expect them to get into the playoffs. It's funny, last season the argument was that Noles benefited from the previous season rep, now the will likely be punished for the previous seasons memories.

if they go undefeated and win the ACC you don't expect them to be a top 4 team?
that seems odd, but i'm not the college football guy around these parts

If you go 13-0 and win your conference, you are going to the playoff unless you are 2014 Marshall.
If you go 12-1 and win a power conference, you are almost certainly going to the playoff.

I'm not saying I think they should be left out at 13-0 or even perhaps 12-1 with an ACC crown, but I think they will be punished for the way they lost to Oregon last season. So much complaining that they perhaps didn't belong, and then that 3rd quarter implosion gave all their detractors all the fuel they will need till the Noles are able to prove them wrong.

They won't get penalized for last seasons loss to oregon. If they were a mid major that may come in to play but not FSU.

People forgot how shitty Ohio State looked in a bad loss to Virginia Tech.
