Magic and Larry were ancient then

i don't know who would have kept up with David Robinson.

tough call.

CP3 > Magic at that point
Kobe < Mike
Durant (Melo started tonight, lol) > Bird at that point
Lebron > Malone
Chandler < Robinson

Davis hits a three, gets fouled, and then gets up and talks smack to Coach Cal

Love it!

I love the Olympics, always have and always will. I have always liked the winter better, wow who would have guessed, but I really like the Olympics in general. I'm excited for London, as they have a really hard act to follow from what Beijing was able to do. Either way, I will be watching as much as I can! U-S-A!!!!

So telegraph.uk is doing little summarys of every nation at the olympics: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/olympics/countries/#U

It includes a phrase book for how to say certain phrases in each countries native language; but this is what they did for the US

Phrasebook:
"Welcome to London 2012, the greatest show on earth"
"Welcome to London, England 2012. The greatest show on earth is the Superbowl"

"It's not the winning that matters, it's the taking part"
"USA! USA! USA!"

"Faster, higher, stronger (The Olympic motto)"
"USA! USA! USA!"

"I think you're in my seat"
"I think you’re in my seat, ma’am"

"The area of Stratford has seen unprecedented economic and social regeneration as part of the delivery of these Olympic Games."
"It still looks awful dangerous. I thought Englandland was quaint?"

"There may be delays on the Jubilee line"
"There may be delays on the Jubilee line; and let me tell you something, that’s why I never take public transport"

Ok, the person who did all this had some fun:

History of United Arab Emirates in 6 words:
The country's history in six words
Bedouins, Brits, Burjes, Beckhams, bling, boiling.

Sweden
The country's history in six words

Norsemen, Nobel, Neutrality, prosperous pornographic progressiveness

Comcast has set up channels just for Olympic basketball and soccer, which is awesome. I don't know if any other providers are doing this but I just thought I'd make everyone aware that those channels may be there.

Watching Team USA is pretty much pointless.

We have the best players in the world by far and we should cruise by everyone to gold. I'd be surprised if any games is within 20. If we happen to lose, well, I don't wanna see it then

I'll definitely be watching the swimming/diving.

Other than that I'll tune into things as I have free time. Hoping to catch gymnastics, some track, basketball, and other random stuff.

I don't know if anyone else had been watching but there's been some damned good mens matches today. This Great Britain-Senegal match has been brutally physical. Its shocking that both teams still have eleven players on the field.

Also, theres a good app out called NBC Olympics Live. You can stream live events and get full replays as well as alerts when certain events are about to start.
