they are 100% correct. There is no downside to the feature (play the pass, and quite honestly play the run as well most times).

Then let's ratify a rule change that GUESS RUN is now allowed. I should be allowed to go for it on 4th-and-30 from my own 1 on the opening possession. This is football, not LittleBigPlanet. I still think our rulebook should look like this:

1. Don't cheat.
2. Don't beat someone by more than 35.
3. That's it.

We have these coaches reports! Let's let them do their job.

the guess run and guess pass and things like that are game flaws. the way you talk about these things are as if they work properly. they dont. many people would probably be fine with whatever if it worked right.

you act like you've discovered the atom or something when you imply we should be "thinking" more in our gameplay. if you guess pass, then 9/10 times you should be susceptible to a 5-8 yards draw play....that doesnt EVER happen.

And you are! Guess pass makes it harder to stop the run. It doesn't change the behavior of the defensive line, though, and I don't trust anyone in this league to notice that; whether it be because of perception bias or stupidity.

What's funny is GUESS RUN has four outcomes, three of them being shitty. Yet that one is banned ... a kneejerk reaction because one or two guys didn't like it in the first week. Then we'll have people telling ME to "go lab." LOL! The league doesn't even do it, why should I?

You clearly don't remember when that feature first came out, no chance.

If I picked guess middle and you ran the ball, 90% of the time you were losing yards, don't care where that run was going, didn't matter.

Well, let's review it because I use it against my more friendly opponents when I am losing big and I know they won't care and it never works unless I guess specifically correctly.

you're buffalo. Now lets make a rule that has to work for the league as a whole.

the only time it works for buffalo is when you guess the right direction, that isnt the case with 75% of the defenses. in that case it works like Shel mentioned. thus a rule must be made that is fair for everyone, not just trendon

believe it or not we do actually do stuff behind the scenes to help keep the NDL train moving.

We dont ever ask for appreciation or attention, but that doesnt mean that there are 25% of the league working behind the scenes to keep things "good"

Not true....run a draw play against Play the Pass, and I bet you go for 15-20 yds if you know how to run the ball behind your blockers.
