I was up 19 in the 4th on Teewade and he cut the lead to 2. So, definitely get conservative with a big lead, but sometimes early in the 4th up around 20, I'm still running my normal offense. Under 4 minutes or so, then maybe I'll shut it down.

Big runs in this game or so common.

That's what is great about this game, it's all over the place.

I beat Pat "soundly" in both of our league games, but VT was beating me by like 22 in the 2nd quarter when we disconnected, but then pat beat VT.

I love the uncertaintly. No game is a guarantee.

there are 10 teams in the West above .500

5 above .500 in the East

just sayin

Ok? The season isn't over yet. Let's see how the records look once everyone has played everyone else. Like I said, the schedules aren't balanced; I have one game against Minnesota, Cleveland, and Memphis, (teams near the bottom), and I have two games against the Suns, Jazz, and Hawks. Meanwhile, you have some teams in the West who have lots of two-game series with lesser teams in the East and West, and only one game against the tougher teams. Their records will get a boost over mine. It doesn't mean that because their records are better that they should suddenly be moved to another conference so that they can make the playoffs. I would say, leave the leagues the way they are.
I think aj is second or third in the east and i beat him soundly, beat VT last night, and I know your up thereJason and I beat you handily as well.......im in 10th in the West.

.....you beat me HANDILY? someone has delusions of grandeur. That game was tied at 58-58 with two and a half minutes left, AT your place.

You won 69-60 because I kept fouling longer than I should and missed threes. It was also one of my earliest games, at a time when I wasn't nearly as knowledgable about the game and shot stick as I am now (and I'm sure I'm not the only one like that).

God, that gave me one hell of a laugh.

As for looking at just records.....I blew an 8 pt lead in the 4th and lost in overtime to Shel; I committed a charge with 2 seconds left in a tied game against Dealer, and lost on a buzzer-beater three. I lost two tight games to JeffDaddy (who is one of the best I've played). And today I beat the Nuggets, who are currently 7th in the West. So the disparity in coaches isn't as bad as some think....it's also worth noting that some of the strongest teams (players/ratings wise) are in the West.

Hey I still won. The guy in tenth in the west beat the #2 team in the east and whatever your ranked j. All i am saying and its gonna be tough for you to argue but the west is significantly stronger than the East as of right now.

Dave next season is there anyway to edit schedules? The scheduling was kinda funky me playing some teams in the east twice and divisional opponents just once. Sorry I am usually the last guy to make suggestions ever as this league is just as fun as football for me, so those were my ideas for change. That and somehow we gotta adjust some shooting cause the percentages (and it goes for me as well) get outta whack. I think VT shot 80% against me in our first half..........and they weren't all lay ups ill tell you that.

And I just beat the guy ranked 4 spots ahead of you.

And yeah, you beat us....you didn't beat us "handily". You won at your place. Congrats.

Btw, children in shanty villages in the Dominican Republic find your internet connection to be crappy. ;)

By the way I was looking at the box scores, and maybe I missed it but who did you just beat that is 4 spots ahead of me? I am looking and don't see any games of yours except from yesterday.

Im not delusional, I suck at the game, may put two quarters together and feel pretty good about it. I dont plan on going undefeated at all, hell I dont care if you want to be a douche bag and fire up 3's up 30 with a minute to go. I enjoy the game, its fun. I do think the 3's are a little out of the ordinary, if im contesting your 3 and your still making 4/5 i think thats a bit much. (im not talking about running a zone or an open 3) Thats really my only gripe in the game. But even with that its a small gripe.

100% agree

i haven't played zone once and i don't plan on it at all this year cuz it's too easy to shoot 3's in this game

...it is friggin impossible to penetrate the zone, though

You can succeed with the 1-3-1, but there is a fatal flaw with the rotation design and position setup in the game, so you have to work around it. I actually use it as my primary D and M2M as my secondary. Both 2-3/3-2 get torched and it is actually pretty easy to drive with the SF/SG.
