there are 10 teams in the West above .500
5 above .500 in the East
just sayin
Ok? The season isn't over yet. Let's see how the records look once everyone has played everyone else. Like I said, the schedules aren't balanced; I have one game against Minnesota, Cleveland, and Memphis, (teams near the bottom), and I have two games against the Suns, Jazz, and Hawks. Meanwhile, you have some teams in the West who have lots of two-game series with lesser teams in the East and West, and only one game against the tougher teams. Their records will get a boost over mine. It doesn't mean that because their records are better that they should suddenly be moved to another conference so that they can make the playoffs. I would say, leave the leagues the way they are.
I think aj is second or third in the east and i beat him soundly, beat VT last night, and I know your up thereJason and I beat you handily as well.......im in 10th in the West.
.....you beat me HANDILY?

someone has delusions of grandeur. That game was tied at 58-58 with two and a half minutes left, AT your place.
You won 69-60 because I kept fouling longer than I should and missed threes. It was also one of my earliest games, at a time when I wasn't nearly as knowledgable about the game and shot stick as I am now (and I'm sure I'm not the only one like that).
God, that gave me one hell of a laugh.
As for looking at just records.....I blew an 8 pt lead in the 4th and lost in overtime to Shel; I committed a charge with 2 seconds left in a tied game against Dealer, and lost on a buzzer-beater three. I lost two tight games to JeffDaddy (who is one of the best I've played). And today I beat the Nuggets, who are currently 7th in the West. So the disparity in coaches isn't as bad as some think....it's also worth noting that some of the strongest teams (players/ratings wise) are in the West.
