Game 1's

Carolina 2 New York 1 (Carolina leads 1-0)

New York rookie Don Meadows pitched eight innings of one-run/three-hit ball but was matched for eight innings by Carolina's Young and Morrissey who gave up only two hits and one run over 7.1. Tied at one, an error on catcher Demy Boessen, who was inserted as a second basemen for some reason, led to the game-winning sac fly.

Albany 4 Steel City 2 (Albany leads 1-0)

In a series pitting the previous two champions, Bill Elliot went eight solid innings and Albany made the most of their five hits.

Game 2's

Carolina 2 New York 1 [18] (Carolina leads 2-0)

Scoreless until the 18th, the Launch scored one in the top of the 18th on a Vaughn Walker triple but manager Julian Rivas sent Lonnie Etheridge back out for a fourth inning and the wheels came off. Four singles by the Spartans plated the tying and winning runs, sending the series back to NY up 2-0. Carolina left 41 men on base and NY left 36.

Albany 9 Steel City 4 (Albany leads 2-0)

Mario Martinez hit a solo home run in a five-run fourth inning that nullified a 4-3 Steel City lead. After a rough start, Albany's Johnson settled down to get 19 outs and the dominent Albany bullpen continued to pile up the scoreless innings.

Game 3's

New York 4 Carolina 3 (Carolina leads 2-1)

Back home, it was New York's turn to win with drama as Alex Amaya homered on the second pitch of the ninth inning to give the Launch Game 3. Sam Gibson went 4-for-4 with three doubles for Carolina.

Steel City 4 Albany 3 (Albany leads 2-1)

Once again Steel City found themselves with a 3-0 lead. This time, however, they did not relinquish it as Ruben Reina scattered 11 hits over eight innings.

Game 4's

Carolina 5 New York 2 (Carolina leads 3-1)

New York lost the game, Jeff Hunter, and possibly the series as they blew a 2-0 lead. Carolina's bullpen pitched four innings and allowed one baserunner as they take a commanding 3-1 lead.

Steel City 4 Albany 1 (Series Tied at 2)

Steel City used a Teddy Miller three-run shot in the eight to scrub out a 1-0 defecit and eventually go on to win 4-1, holding the Wild Ones to three hits.

Friday, October 11th, 2013
New York Launch: SP J. Hunter was injured while pitching. The Diagnosis: elbow inflammation. He's expected to miss about 3 weeks.

Texas Outlaws: J. Arroyo has suffered a setback in his recovery. He is not expected to recover for another 1-2 weeks.

New York 11 Carolina 3 (Carolina leads 3-2)

New York scored nine runs in the first inning and eventually led 11-0 as Joham Cotrim filled in nicely for the Launch's ace Jeff Hunter.

Steel City 8 Albany 5 (Steel City leads 3-2)

Francisco Elizondo scored three times and had four hits and Steel City staved off a furious Wild Ones rally to take a 3-2 series lead.

GAME 6's

Carolina 9 New York 3 (Carolina Wins Series 4-2)

Carolina jumped out 3-0 in the first and repeatedly countered New York scores before pulling away with a three-run fifth to return to the NDLB Series.

Albany 5 Las Vegas 1 (Series Tied at 3)

Jerry Johnson allowed one run and four hits over seven and the Wild Ones quickly jumped on Cortez to send the series to seven.

Game 7

Steel City 10 Albany 4 (Steel City wins Series)

Paul Ervin hit two of the Bulldogs' four home runs as we are all set for a rematch of last season's Series!
