video game stuff was awesome

...he's had Bielema, Petrino & Swinney on recently so i like what he's bringing to the ears. Sick of the Tiger talk, but SVP came up through the golf channel so it's understandable

nick wrote:hey is it possible for me to get these shows online? I am so sick and tired of reading/hearing about hockey.

I use homer247.com.

It's the main website for the Fox and ESPN affiliates out of Cincinnati. One gives you Stephen A. Smith / Dan Patrick / Jim Rome, the other offers Mike & Mike / Colin Cowherd / Hartman & Myers.

iHeartRadio can be streamed for free if you just want to go directly there.

Yea, I hate the PTI days.

Though Stugotz is pretty good in charge, but it lacks, obviously, without Lebatard there for the 1st hour.

I've also listened on my laptop at home during the afternoons when I'm bored and just looking for scrims, lol.

Otherwise, it's all on Podcast. I was bummed because today's show wasn't up on Itunes tonight for me to download and listen on my way to work. In fact, it still isn't up.

examply #3251 of my lack of understanding technology.

i really don't even think i know what a podcast is. i'm assuming its just a copy of a show you can download and play on your itunes? are they free?

A podcast is tradtionaly a audio file where people discuss anything and eveything. An espn podcast might just be a audiorecording of the show that you can listen to on the go.

You have the right idea riccio. Podcasts get me through the day at work.

That's pretty much exactly it Dave. I guess some you have to pay for, but Lebatard's show is free.

Basically, I jump on Itunes on my phone, search and find LeBatard and they have all shows on in the past month or so. Each show is broken up into 2 parts, and I just download both each day and listen to as much as possible.

The good thing is it's commercial free so that's pretty sweet.

By the way, can I be the wet blanket that asks everyone to not call it a podcast? It isn't just an anti-Apple thing, I strive to not call things by their genericized trademarks (re: Q-tip, escalator)

Yeah. You ever see the list on Wiki? I was shocked at a few.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ge ... trademarks

The ones that shocked me when I first read it

Aspirin
Dry ice
Heroin
Kerosene
Videotape
zipper
popsicle
styrofoam

I call it an escalator. I didn't say I was militant about it. I try my best.

Your request to not refer to it as a podcast:
