I agree with you in a way with some teams I do a 7 day lineup. 6 man rotation. I am one that won't push them even on a small injury. just my turn this season. Most times i am on the bottom of this list

Been a fun season. We have all been back and forth.

Called up Tony Lopez due to injury about 1/2 way through the season. He stunk at defense but his bat looked solid. He is 27 and never played in the bigs for us....

through 80 games....26HR and 70 RBIs .873 OPS

and yes -7 zr is beyond terrible but that's over 80 games. Come playoff time, the question is, do you roll with the defensive guy or the guy who could potentially change the series on offense if he gets hot?

I'd say depends on your overall defense. If it is generally strong I'd be ok with the impact bat in a short series if it is not SS or CF but if it is already weak it could be trouble.
