Johnny Kingston's number 42 to be retired this season in Montreal.
Thanks for everything Johnny, can't wait to honor you on the field!
Kingston had a career .313 average with 1903 hits 308 doubles in 11 seasons in the Majors. He played 9 seasons with the Montreal Organization.

Awesome! Congrats to the Professor! It's a shame he never got to reach the 2000 hit mark.
We had a similar ceremony for Steve "The Jerk" Martin last season. He was the face of this Toronto franchise for more than a decade, and my first superstar when I took over for the Oklahoma Mustangs. Loved that guy. I have a feeling at least 4 guys from this current team will have their number up in the rafters when their time is done. (RIcardo Hernandez, Carlos Cruz, Jsaon Sharp, Pat Bradshaw)
Current retired numbers around the league:
Cincy - Alfredo Hernandez #20
Cookeville - Jeremy Lehman #48, Juan Moreno #60
Miami - Javier Travino #5 or 6?, Jose Suarez #53
New England - Robby Graham #24
OCD - Louie Gaudreau #8, Julio Ayala #47
Philly - Jose Rivas #18
Port Orange - Morton O'Quinn #37, Steve Campbell #43
Richmond - Pablo Lopez #16
San Antonio - Enter Desciption Here #23
Seattle - Matthew Lewis #17, Claudio Hernandez #43
Toronto - Steve Martin #57
Washinton - Lance Warren #56

Very cool! I would like to see Wayne Washington's number retired in Omaha! Thanks for sharing this info, I did not know this was readily available.

My owner threw another $20 million or so at me. He's a good guy. I'm glad his dad finally kicked the bucket a few years ago.

Nobody stays long enough in Boston to retire a number.

They don't even wear numbers in my organization. Jersey fees would be in the millions. For example, Derrick Washington is making his 4th stop with us
