Miles could be gone as early as tomorrow

http://www.theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/ ... ft_amplify

I know last season I was ok with giving him 1 more year, but it's kind of a bummer now. They carried him off the field last season, that woulda been a solid send off for Miles. And now he'll likely go out midway into a season. Stinks for Miles, but at this point, it has to be done.

After a loss like that and it not being his first and how he manages games it is time to move on and as we said, do it now.

With how much Meyer and Saban have dominated college football the last 10 years or so they should institute a rule where you can't play with the little kids anymore and you have to go to the big leagues.

Just looking at some of the discussion around Miles firing around the nation and seeing what Saban and Meyer have done is astonishing.

Meyer is possibly the only guy in this class and it wasn't like Miles was going 11-1 and his only loss to Bama every year. He refused to make adjustments to what the game was changing to, stuck with his stone age offensive mindset, and his game/clock management skills are some of the worst in football.

He can recruit his ass off and did a hell of a job for a university that you wouldnt call a powerhouse prior to him and Saban being there but is now one of the best jobs in college football.

People are saying he was fired unrealistically in comparing him to Saban but he had to go.
