Is it worth it to set your own strategy or just go with your manager? Looks like a pretty daunting task....
Also, if you set individual player strategies that would just over ride any game time strategies you enter, right? So there wouldn't be a point to actually setting game time strategies.?.?.

I just let my manager do all the work in spring training and he seems to get everyone plenty of AB's and innings pitched. Of course I've also only ever had a record above .500 and made the playoffs once so take everything I say with an African sized grain of salt.
If you keep talking about your team so positively, soon people will rather get swept than you win it all.

No they won't, that's only when you say it...
I'm pretty sure there are people rooting for Corey because of the out of character change of philosophy and his Marlins approach to the season.

Tough decisions coming up in Cookeville. Twenty pitchers on our spring roster. Six are capable of being starters, four are Rule 5's, six are out of option years....oh, and only maybe 2 are any good anyway.....

Exactly. Corey doesn't act like he's won the title after the first free agent signing he makes. Laugh all you want, but I know at least four people who made the playoffs (out of 11 teams) that said they would have gladly been swept if it meant you didn't win. Take that for what you want.

Miami vs Boston world series. A classic Wrestlemania main event. The bostonmaniacs behind the good guy Hulk Cnasty taking on the heel Miami. Boston goes down 3-1 then claws back to win in 7.
Man, that'd be good.

Since I'm pretty sure I know the 4 owners, kinda sucks but I'm gonna make sure in future totws n cards I won't be adding any of their players. If as a grown man you have to think so pathetically then why waste my time rewarding you with something.

Oh no! I won't get a card! Lighten up Nancy. I didn't want you to win, you should take it as a freakin' compliment because I thought highly enough of your team as the FAVORITE to win it all that I'd go that far to fake root against my own team in the theoretical scenario that would cause you to not win.
I would have never said a single word about your team (or anyones for that matter) but you constantly posted about how good your team was (jokingly or not) and it just got super annoying. And then you post "not bad" after things that are obviously good things in a passive aggressive way to try to look modest. You have a great team. You've done a wonderful job getting your team to where it is. We all recognize that, we didn't need a constant reminder each sim. I know you're excited (or assume you are) and know you want people to know how good of a job you've done, but we (or atleast I do) already realize that you have. I even voted for you (I think, I don't remember for sure) in the "best gm to not win" poll that I posted. Constant reminders just got annoying.
I think the journal thing is a great idea, the cards you do are great for the league, all of that shit is GREAT. It helps keep immersion going, it keeps people involved. I just got tired of hearing all about the Vice so I wanted you to lose so that you'd shut it for a bit. That's all.
I'm sorry if I offended you.

I'd rather hear all about the vice than not hear anything at all.
So yea, keep posting as there may only be 6 or 7 of us left that actually do.
