Dude's freaking brilliant.

Corolla has long been in my top 3 people I'd like to have dinner with. I know that's one of his crowning achievements.

What exactly did he say that was so insane and breath taking? That if you work hard you'll succeed? I guess he forgets that we dont live in a perfect world and racism, prejudice and shit happens all the fucking time. Hes a white male, I'm sure he didn't have a tough time growing up in comparison to minorities.

Its funny though, Im starting to see the 99's view. Merely example, but what does a stock broker job that is in the highest tax bracket, when I am in the lowest tax bracket and i install/repair/inspect fire equipment in buildings that saves peoples lives? One of us plays monopoly for a living and one of us saves lives, and one of us gets paid about 10 000% better than the other. seems a little unfair?

just seems stupid no? Even you, you're underpaid. Be honest, you think a stock worker is worth more than your job? And be 100% honest

Do you have an idea about how economics and supply and demand work?

THere's your answer.

You're job and my job are a hell of a lot easier to replace then that stock broker making all that money's is. If it wasn't, everyone would be a millionaire stock broker.
nick wrote:What exactly did he say that was so insane and breath taking?
Breath taking? Not much. But I agreed with all of it, and pretty much everything else he has a take on, for the most part.

He tells it like it is with no regard for how it will make people feel, not many people do that.

Everyone gets paid market value for their job, not necessarily the jobs worth to society.

he tells it like it is my ass. what exactly did he say? He said that people expect shit handed to them without working for it, and when growing up it was cool to idolize the rich dude. That's telling it like it is? Or was it when he said terrorists attack the states because I guess, jealousy? Lol. I guess the Oklahoma City bomber was jealous of what America had, living in America.

That's not the case more than ever nowadays?

I think it's rather obvious that it is.

I personally dont give a shit. I have seen in the little time Ive been where I am, the potential for wealth when I make my own business. Best part about fire is it will never run out and the code is always updating. They charge the buildings 70/hr labor for my coworker and 40/hr for me cause im new, and we make 13/hr lol. So when we work, theyre making money off us, add in the fact they charge like $1000+ for shit that requires $100 to buy. Its an incredible field. I look forward to being at least well off.

of course it is, but thats not ground breaking or some big shit that he said it. Everyone says that all the time. Welfare is retarded, thats just a cesspool of people begging for free money. OMG I'm revolutionary I told it like it is.

Your math is flawed....there might be a few billion people in the country, but it's not the "wealthiest 1% of people", it's the "wealthiest 1% of households". Most couples/families file together. The "1%" isn't including children, teens, etc.

Wow. There's not even a few billion people in China.
