UConn is 4-5 with 3 losses to ranked teams (Cuse, NC St, Michigan all on road) and we blew a double digit 4th q lead to mighty Ball St as well.
i know this doesn't sound like much but this is Jim Mora Jr. first year and the prior 3 years were LITERALLY the worst 3 years of college football in history. we were letting up like 50 pts a game for a long stretch and hadn't beat any non-UMass d1 teams in years.
last week we beat BC for the first time in school history... yes they stink, but its all relative for northeast football, we've stunk far worse and even our best years they'd still beat us.
he won't any recognition for an around .500 season but if we can win 2 of the next 3 and make a bowl it will be a coach of the year type season for him... truly remarkable. its impossible to describe how bad the team has been in the past few years.

I'd take Mora right now. IU football is imploding back to their doormat status. Tom Allen will be the coach for the next two years because of the buyout the previous AD gave him but those years are going to be ugly. The portal will taketh away in huge fashion this offseason and IU hasn't even begun to sniff the NIL waters for football like they have for basketball. The institution is failing IU football yet again, so situation normal. Somehow I still watch it every Saturday like I always have.

I'm in an NFL 30-point pool. My team this week is the Steelers and they have a bye so I have to pick a college team. Order some good teams to pick to land exactly on 30?

Wtf do refs look at on replays for that to stand?

I think UGA wears them down, keeps the Vols off the field offensively and make them feel rushed when on offense to play catch up creating errors and maybe some turnovers in that environment.
I just think UGA at home, being in these scenarios the last few years sets them up for a big W.
After 1, this is exactly what is occurring.
If they keep them out of the end zone here they may have survived the flurry of punches to get some momentum going.
Super early of course but Tennessee looks a bit flustered and “game is too big” right now.

The one thing they called after a 10 minute review was the one thing that very clearly did not happen

This is the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time.
Bama Fumble, LSU guy has 2 hands and possession of the ball but because a Bama player's leg is out of bounds and touches the ball, it's ruled dead? Wtf.
LSU had possession of the ball. This makes no sense.
They seriously brought up making a football move.
How exactly does one make a football move when he gains possession of the ball while both knees and his entire body is laying on the ground?

He didn’t have full possession when out of bounds player touched it.

What's possession then?
He had 2 hands on the ball, no bobbing. He ws just starting to bring the ball into his body, knee on the ground.
At what point is possession gained? What constitutes possession?

Would be nice to catch a break against Bama just once a decade.
But instead dude mishits a 46 yard FG but sneaks it in.

Weird rule. I know the kickoff rule where you can get a kick off sides by catching it with one foot out but guy in booth called it immediately.

Fun game though. Bama just not as good this year. Self inflicted penalties and no WRs this year.
