Dang the truck washing business doing that good huh?

Considering only your income over 10 million would have be taxed at that rate

Biden wants to take it back from the 28% it is now to 36%. It's not just corporate businesses he is rolling back the taxes, it's small businesses too. But we are talking about bernie and it'll be at least 50% for what he would want the tax payers to pay

They aren't nearly as expensive when you don't give away stupid shit for no reason. The amount of governmental waste is staggering, I know this as someone who sells things to city/state governments all the time. The California State Assessor's office doesn't need to spend $500 with me on logo'd wine tumblers (a quote I literally sent out today) - that's someone's taxes WASTED.

Does $500 matter? no. But all those wastes, big and small, piled up because it's easy to spend someone else's money adds up

That's just something you completely made up. Nowhere will you find him saying or a proposal on paper of a 50% tax on the average person but never the less it's irrelevant since bernie isn't going to be president.

Our taxes are stupid low in this country. My real tax rate at the end of the year has never exceded 10% on what my wife and I make. Anyone who complains about it prolly doesn't really know how much other countries pay and also how much more they get for their taxes.

This is what happens when there is no fiscal accountability. Budgets aren't even suggestions to some of these people.

While what you're saying is true, I doubt many people will be all too stoked on higher taxes until our gov't uses the taxes they collect responsibly.

Plain and simple, the govt is a piss poor steward of our money

Oh, this money (in my example of the tumblers) is sadly budgeted in. They just decided that they need to spend our money on themselves!

The only people to blame for how the government spends money is ourselves

The people who vote blue overlook the waste in democrats and the people who vote red overlook how the republicans waste. Neither party is really any better then the other.

But let's keep voting for those 2 parties!!!

Agreed. Gov't waste isn't an R/D or Red/Blue issue - it's a Govt/Citizens issue. We let them get away with it when we continue to vote the status quo of the 2 parties (which is why I also don't vote R or D).

But surely, handing them more of our money to waste is the absolutely worst solution.

Not voting is the only thing worse then our current political parties. Also unfortunately there is no other candidate options on nation wide elections due to the rigged two party system.

They absolutely have the perfect monopoly. Candidates currently have to have the money from one of the two parties to get elected thus feel loyalty towards them and won't pass legislation to make the two party system obsolete.

Not voting R or D does not equate to not voting.

I do also disagree with your assertion. If it was truly and literally just 2 options, Trump or Biden, I absolutely think not voting is doing more for your country than tossing a vote to either one of them IMO.

The bigger an entity is, the more waste you will find when you look around. This is as true for government as it is for the habitats of large land mammals.
