Politics and stuff
Re: Politics and stuff
It all boils down too the more people that vote the less Republicans there are that get elected. End of story.
Low voter turnout is in any given election a strong indicator for the success of conservatives.

Washington is 100% mail in. Systems are in place and examples are out there. It isnt a new thing

I'm 100% ok with mail in voting once we have a secure system to confirm who sent it in and ensure that votes are only counted once.

5 states do mail in. I am sure Washington took some time to make sure they got it right, and I'm damn sure it took more than 4 months to do it

It doesn't require a translation... it requires you to get the context and not snip the quote to make it something that it's not.cougnix wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2020 10:30 am Trump saying trumpy things again.
If you don't think your mail-in ballot got counted because its lost in the mail, go in person and vote again. Thats the gist of what i got from his open mouth and say whatever approach to anything.
Whats the sympathizers translation of that?

I think the far more relevant question was one you already asked why is not already in place?
Is someone really gonna try and say that in this day and age that if there was a plot to stuff the ballot box with enough votes to sway a election wether it be by in person vote, mail in, or digital if that was available to us it wouldn't be insanely obvious to uncover?
One side wants as many obstacles as they can get to discourage voter turnout and that speaks volumes. Having to wait hours upon hours to vote is an abomination and its no coincidence where those voting stations that run into that problem are located.

He the guy with the spit bag over his head? Not sure what there is to twist, it's not like it was a plastic bag. Go watch any prison documentary and you'll see that you aren't suffocating in that bag.
Maybe it was the PCP in his system?
edit: I know nothing on how PCP affects you.

Re: Politics and stuff
Oh, gotcha. Because telling the public to do something that is a felony is better. Context, he is telling people to test the system, vote twice and see if it works. Hmmm, seems like a good idea.ReignOnU wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2020 11:38 amIt doesn't require a translation... it requires you to get the context and not snip the quote to make it something that it's not.cougnix wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2020 10:30 am Trump saying trumpy things again.

I saw this on the way out the door this morning. What is the story on this one? All I saw was his family saying he was lynched. Bit of a reach, but ok.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2020 2:00 pmHe the guy with the spit bag over his head? Not sure what there is to twist, it's not like it was a plastic bag. You could see on the video that the bag was porous and wouldn't even protect them from the rona completely, but it deters people from spitting at the cops. Not sure what the leadup was and why he was practically (or fully) nude?

Haven't read up completely. He was in a mental hospital. Was released and then still was mentally distressed.cougnix wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2020 6:45 pmI saw this on the way out the door this morning. Re: Politics and stuff
I'm exhausted thinking about how to explain it. Also comes down to context. Are you referring to "who is QAnon?" Or are you referring to "what is QAnon?" I'm assuming since you're left, then you're referring to "what," because that's the context that's been most relevant as of late and it's what is being pushed.
Who: Originally, was an unknown person posting on 4chan. Many theories ranging from someone f'n around to literally being Donald Trump. Most likely became multiple people while on 8chan. 4chan/8chan are far right (also mostly libertarian) anonymous message boards. The forums are about 65% sarcastic bullshitting; 30% out of this world conspiracy theories and 5% of incredibly detailed information that you can't find anywhere else.
What: QAnon is the label for a massive collection of conspiracy theories that include the following: There is an NWO; The Rothschild's run everything; The world is run by satanistic pedophiles; Trump knows everything and is trying to bring it all down; Mueller is in on trying to bring it all down; Soros is heavily behind the NWO/satanistic group; Bush's, Clinton's, and Obama's all in as part of the satanistic group; Pizzagate; Epstein; They say it's ironic that so many recent child trafficking busts have happened since Maxwell has been in custody; Comey involved in the cover up; Hollywood is a breeding ground for eltes, etc... I think I hit all of the most common ones.
In short, it's a shitload of Alex Jones' running wild with Alex Jones type ideas.
...The biggest issue that comes up, is that there are genuinely some really smart/savvy internet trolls that frequent the group. When there is a breaking world event, they almost always know who/what/when/where/how, well before any news source has it. They are also rarely wrong. While some shit sounds totally crazy, they've had just enough of a success rate with it that you at least have to pause.
Those that really buy into it, do so because the fairly slick people peddling a lot of it are able to find connections between everything. They'll map stuff out like one of those big ass boards in a detective movie and it all seemingly makes sense when you look at it, even if it ends up completely unconnected.
That's the best explanation I can give at a high level. We're talking about a lot of the same people that managed to get a frog meme (Pepe) and the "OK" sign, turned into hate symbols.
