It goes up as teams make offers to out do each other, so like Rob, I never pay attention to their demands listed in the FA list.
Yeah, I don't pay attention to it either (I also never have money for FA) but this one just caught my eye because he was not on top of the top 25 list so I thought he was signed. Then when I saw he wasn't I looked and noticed that. I've just never seen rom top of that list to off of it

Oh yea. That contract is gonna haunt someone
Looks like it will be Cookeville unless he withdrew his offer.
Do we know if OOTP 18 has implemented the draft pick compensation rule change?
This is the summarized rule:
Now, in the new CBA, teams with payrolls that exceed the luxury tax threshold will surrender second- and fifth-round picks to sign free agents who were given qualifying offers. All other teams will surrender third-round picks.
Ah man, we have issues getting these free agents signed already. This would literally leave a playoff team of free agents sitting their all season...but we should do it if/when possible.

It would? Some might rather give up a 2nd and a 5th than a 1st

I think the exact opposite would happen. People would be much more willing to sign a mid tier comp FA when not having to give up a first.
Right now we ahve so many solid players who just don't get signed.

As of now, it has not made the change yet.
We use 18 in my other league.
