I know its a dumb question but other than that I am unsure how that could be happening.
Can you log in as Nick to check the functions and who is set up to do what?

I did and it is setup like he is saying, only for promotions and demotions.
Just withdraw the Luckwell offer and yes I can fix the Perez deal as well. I wouldn't release the assistant GM unless we continue to see these things especially if others have one (I do) and aren't seeing the same issues.

Yikes...so this is going to keep happening I'd assume until we can figure out why.

It's not happening to anyone else it seems so maybe it is an isolate issue? I honestly don't know.

Were Nick's regular GM (usual ones, not AGM) settings correct as well?

I'll eat the $300k I owe my AGM over the next 3 seasons and fire him. Seems to be a bigger risk having one than not

I'd probably do the same.

Yep.
Knowing that the lock level feature doesn't work, I no longer have much of any use for my assistant GM as well.

Part of me thinks it has to be this but I just can't see how.
If I set to manually control my minor league promotions/demotions, then the lock level feature is irrelevant.
So it would stand to reason that the lock level feature is to mainly be used when you set the AI to control the promotions/demotions, but that's when the issue occurs.

If it's an issue that 4-5 people have 'accidentally' replicated, then it's a major development problem on their part. It should be intuitive and simple. It's clearly not.

Is it possible that most of these problems stem from us having a file that originated so long ago on a really early version of OOTP and there are settings and things that have passed down from each upgrade?

No settings that would be visible. With each generation the settings that we have had were evaluated, tested and typically updated as needed. 13 to 15 had some new stuff in it, but nothing that we related to this. That's not to say that there isn't all kinds of stuff that is still hidden deep down in our files, because there certainly is. It's just be neutralized so that it's a non-issue to our current game.

Another new one in 17...Jack Welch says he won't sign for me because his personality clashes too much with my manager Manny Diaz (personable)
