Why wouldn't all buyouts just be the 25% and keep it uniform across the board?

Don't make people think about what options and what %'s, make them all the same.

On the player options topic, Michael Strong turned down a $13 mil player option and signed for 4/22.8 total.

I think it's just random. My owner did the same to me last season but I wasn't trading anyone away. Think he said something along the lines of since I wasn't signing any FA's or improving the team he was cutting my budget back.

Is $217 million the largest contract ever?

Guessing not, but it's probably up there.

Tried for Torres but LA came in over the top. And I was offering $2M/year over what he was asking for. Just didn't see someone going to $19M/year

I thought you'd get him. I had already decided I wasn't offering him any more money last sim and was just hoping you'd go ahead and outbid yourself

Juan Torres is the best signing. I was hoping he'd stay under the radar. Even tho hes older hes built like a machine and can SS/3B. ugh. so sour I should of offered more. and Varela had me on "favors offer". So close ot making an impact
