Can Nebraska get their first tournament win ever?! Strange even talking about basketball in Nebraska when it's not in regards to Creighton.

I hope they win their first game and Creighton destroys them in the round of 32. If McDermott can get some help I think Creighton can make a strong push to the final 4.

So am I. I just take issue with Husker football fanatics that conveniently root for Creighton in basketball.

I root for Creighton in baseball as well. But, I root for both teams...just if they play each other I always go for Creighton.

I think if they had gotten any of the other 8/9 games in the second round they'd be a shoo-in for the Sweet 16. But with the way Kentucky has been playing of late, their athleticism, and Wichita not having really been tested by athletes of that type in... forever, I don't think the Shockers are getting out of the first weekend.

I think if they had gotten any of the 8/9 games in the second round they'd be a shoo-in for the Sweet 16. But with the way Kentucky has been playing of late, their athleticism, and Wichita not having really been tested by athletes of that type in... forever, I don't think the Shockers are getting out of the first weekend.

I read an article how the committee did everything it could to try and derail Wicha's title chances with the teams they put in there side. Kentuckee in the 2nd Rd, UL in the Sweet 16, and Michigan/Duke await for the elite 8 game.

I'm not one to buy into all that stuff, but it makes you wonder......

My point was that Witchita St is pretty much playing teams the whole way where the other team's fanbase can easily reach it. That rarely happens.

We lost at home to Arkansas. Arkansas, the same team that didn't win a road game for like a year and a half.

We lost on the road to a horrible SC team.

We could lose to Kansas State.
