Co-Champs yea, but my point is Bama needed to back into the championship game the last 2 years with losses and needed help from a lot of teams to ensure they get to play there.



btw, anybody get the feeling Notre Dame belonged about as much as NIU?

Let me add a caveat so BFiVL doesnt kill me....

They were clearly the better team on the field the last two years though. In hind site, because I thought Notre Dame's defense would have at least played, I wish Oregon had got to play Alabama. I think those were probably the two best schools this year.

I am messing with Danny. No worries George. Those Nebraska teams were really good but like all teams that win NC needed luck to get there.

I stopped watching in the 3rd quarter. The game was boring, it looked like Alabama was playing a FCS school out there. This hopefully is the eye opener Notre Dame needs that they need to play in a conference and go thru that grind week in and week out. Playing the service academies just doesnt cut it..

I cut it off after 21-0. Lol. I had hoped for a defensive battle that ND would end up losing anyway. This was just depressing.

Closer. I think a lot of that was due to the fact that if you give Nick Saban a month to prepare for anything he's going to crush you. Not saying Kelly didn't have ample time either, but Saban is in a world of his own. I honestly think if you took 2 identical teams and had Kelly and Saban coach them Saban would win because of how well he prepares and schemes
