Aside from looking at the box scores, I dont watch much NBA on TV (see: cable). However, I was at my parents for the Super Bowl when the Pistons played the Lakers and we turned it on halfway through the 4th. Dude had like three dunks (two were alley-oops), a steal leading to a fast break, and a half dozen rebounds in the 20 or so minutes real-time that I watched. I was really impressed

Davis is a no brainer superstar. he's been awesome this year, but they are playing him limited minutes and he also got hurt. i think KG is a fair comparison as is Duncan.

i can't say Drummond is a no brainer stud... he has to develop more than just the athleticism to get to that point. but he's awesome too and has unlimited upside.

he was the all but locked up #1 pick for 2 1/2 years before he got to UConn. Calhoun's tough love coaching style, knock em down and build em up hurt his percieved value and hurt his draft stock... but he's a monster too.

we're getting to that point where we're gonna have to have 'the talk' soon.

We're definitely at the point where if he's not at your #2 GOAT, you need to think about your basketball analysis skills

But yea, another season or 2 with similar numbers as he's put up this year, and it is certainly at least a credible debate for #1.

I agree. Without knowing him, he seems like one of the more likable star athletes out there

he's sitting front row at the UM-UNC game today with Dwade.

can't imagine how hard it is to coach your kids when they see those 2 sitting courtside and want to impress them.

Probably going to shock some people coming from me... but from what I do know of him, not public image, he's always been a good dude.

Quick story... early 2000s... his HS squad came down to play Kettering Alter, it was a pretty big event at UD. If I remember it right, this is the game where there was a massive snowstorm. Anyway, SVSM ripped apart Alter (who they'd later beat in the D2 championshp in a real close game). After the game, Lebron was awarded the MVP. After getting the trophy, he gave it to one of his team mates (short white kid), who absolutely went off during the weekend, hitting 3s from all over. I remember seeing him 3x while he was in HS and he was always respectful and had a real happy-go-lucky personality. His mom... lol... a whole other story. Absolute nut job. :-)

i've been saying for quite a while that short shorts are going to make a comeback soon. after seeing that jersey, i think its only a matter of time.

not sure exactly how or who is going to pull it off... but its coming. my guess would be Harden or Wesbtrook trying it.

then again, i've been saying that 2 totally different designed shoes would be coming for a decade and that trend hasn't necessarily taken off. why the fuck do shoes need to match?

My 9yr old niece always where's 2 different, outrageously designed/colored socks... does that count?

Short shorts better be accompanied by compression shorts.

I never really got into the tshirt under the jersey thing. I did the sleeveless thing underneath, but anything with sleeves just felt weird when I was playing ball.
