He'd be so much more effective if he wasn't soft. He'd score more, draw more fouls, gather more rebounds and block more shots if he was just aggressive. Instead, he just allows players to push him around and settles for jumpers, which, if they go in, is good news for the Lakers. But you have a higher chance of scoring if you drive the lane, especially with how whistle-heavy refs are. Bynum plays twice as hard as Gasol on a bum knee.

I still think a lot of the Lakers' success revolves around Gasol. It's just a shame he's so soft that it he's not consistent or reliable.

I used to be the biggest kobi hater but if he can come out and compete when he has a broken finger, back, neck, ankles and shit like he does and pull Wins and takes his team to the finals well then fuck it he is UNBELIEVABLE!
