Paul George being traded to Clippers for boatload of picks
Re: NBA Thread
The Clippers are sending the Thunder four unprotected first-round picks, one protected first-round pick and two pick swaps, league sources tell ESPN. Those picks go to OKC with Gallinari and SGA.

Sorry Nick
Re: NBA Thread
That is a monster haul for OKC. SGA is one of the best young pieces in the league. Not sure what years the 5 first convey but with the injury history of those two guys and both approaching 30 those picks could be better than it seems.
The issue will be how SGA can play and develop next to Russ but still, good haul for OKC and avoiding that big luxury tax bill for a team that could not win a series

Re: NBA Thread
This will be such a fucking awesome NBA season. In my opinion all these teams can make a case to be considered a title contender
West:
Lakers
Clippers
Rockets
Jazz
Portland
Denver
Then you have really intriguing teams in New Orleans and Golden State. I also love watching Fox and Buddy in Sacramento.
East:
Philly
Milwaukee
I would not be surprised at all to see Boston be a much better team this year.
Then you have the new look Nets, love some of the Pacers moves, and Toronto who will still be good although not nearly a contender.
Jimmy B's inevitable meltdown about how bad he hates all his teammates and the upstart Bulls and Hawks with the young talent starting to come together.
This season should be awesome

Re: NBA Thread
It makes me happy that LeBron didn't get one of the best players in the league to help him get another title.

Re: NBA Thread
If Russ stays in OKC lets set the field goal attempts per game at 29.5, I'll take the over

OKC offered Westbrook and PG-13 to the Raptors with Siakam as the centerpiece of an “asset-crippling deal,” but Toronto turned it down, per @wojespn

Smart move by Masai, I wouldn't want Westbrook and getting rid of all their assets, even if it meant getting PG13.nick wrote:OKC offered Westbrook and PG-13 to the Raptors with Siakam as the centerpiece of an “asset-crippling deal,” but Toronto turned it down, per @wojespn

AD waived his trade kicker for Danny Green and KCP.

Re: NBA Thread
Danny Green should of been shot out of a cannon into the sun with how awful he played in the playoffs. Nearly cost the Raps turning the ball over in game 6.

Re: NBA Thread
Clippers easily. They had one of the best benches in the league last year and bring it all back.
