Also i think we are way too much of a prospect hugging league (myself included) everyone is so scared to trade away the next potential Richard Todd
This is all intertwined from having too much talent/not enough injuries
Your injury part has some good points but this talent thing is wrong!!!!!!!!

Didn't we have a elite free agent not asking for much still in free agency at the start of the season?

Have you guys looked at the MLBs current free agency pool? It could field 3-4 teams.

I don't think anyone elite. Makes no sense to me that Jose Garcia wasn't signed as 3B is a weak spot in the league and he is one of the better ones. I kept getting the "won't play for your manager" and then had to spend my money elsewhere. Besides him there is not anyone in free agency that is a wtf why is he not signed guy.

it isn't necessarily about 'wtf why isn't he signed' its eh, if i lose a decent guy there are 800 options for me to choose from to replace that decent guy.

so i never have to value depth, ever. i can always focus all my energy on acquiring 8 stud positional players and a few stud pitchers.

part of that is cause of injuries and part of that is the talent pool.

That's usually our home/road splits but we have been "acceptable" on the road this year but en Fuego as always at home, 42-11.

next season you guys should do a challenge and just put a team together of FAs.. when you battle for 1st overall pick cause you have 2.5 pitchers this little debate will end quick.
