I think that passed. We have a 150 foot rubber ducky in Lake Ontario to celebrate it.

0/8 because they are playing a 4 man outfield and you hit everything to the warning track?

Just trying to put some perspective around this 0/8 in slow pitch softball.

If someone doesn't like Tim Tebow, i think it's fair to say that person is generally a pretty unhappy person, right?

yes

getting into even deeper psych talk, it's fair to say that " if you don't like ___________ (fill in the blank) you are somewhat unhappy" disliking people or putting others down is typically a direct reflection of some sort of personal unhappiness. finding peace and/or empathy for all, including those that hurt us or have no place to help us is typically a sign of a secure/balanced person (i prefer not to use happy). it doesn't mean you have to wish to associate or spend time with everyone

the tebow example is just the easiest because someone that shines as bright as he does just puts a big mirror into people's faces and most unbalanced people generally hate seeing someone else so secure and if they are truly in pain they just do anything to knock that person down (ie make excuses, question how genuine he is, etc etc)

Could not have said it better myself lol.

As for Tebow, worship whoever you want and make money however you want but do not become a Gator.... yuck

I feel bad for the player who lost his opportunity because of this tho. a 30 yr old in high a ball. no other organization would allow this unless youre Anthony Gose or Rick Ankiel changing positions.

I feel like this is Nick's concession to say, "Ok, I can't do what Tebow is doing, but..." :)

Problem is, that would mean you're saying you could put up those numbers over a 10 game sample size too...but you can't.
