Are the Olympics almost over? Treating running and swimming like they're sports every four years might actually be too often for my taste.

i agree. sheesh.

and what is going on with the gymnastics. team competition, individual, then i see last night one USA chick got a medal on JUST the balance beam. Do they give medals for who fills the chalk bpowl thing over there too?

I will say i have enjoyed having them on while im off work, i can flipto one of 4 channels and watchsome random "sport" for 30 minutes here or there

i've recently got my fill of water polo, badmitton (seriously this is in the olympics??), beach volleyball, weightlifting, and a few others

This is pretty cool. Amazing that the 100m swim was done in 55 degree water in the open sea back in 1896 and the guy did it in 1:22.
