First thoughts about NCAA Football 2012

After reading this entire thread and the sillyness, I looked and Matt had already decided the settings.

embarrassed to admit (and shel can confirm this) i was so clueless last year that i used to challenge guys with the wrong minutes when i was the home team for league games. midway thru the game i'd realize that i think i messed up and i'd text shel (did it probably 4 or 5 times) and he'd tell me the right minutes.

I wish they'd improve (or downgrade I guess) the super MLB's that just about every team seems to have. I'm sick and tired of seeing those guys elevate 6 feet off the ground and break up passes thrown by a QB who's 15 yards in front of them.

AGREED, the defense on heisman seems super powered at least vs. the CPU. I am finding it very frustrating so far.

if you haven't noticed, it's been a joke to me recently and I've posted in that way consistently since the original battles.

You are reading into it deeper to pull out that Block was saying that Matt is incapable/he's a figurehead, but that's going to help your argument so of course you're going to pull it from left field because that's what you do in your arguments. The diagram for a shel argument is as follows:

1) Quote poster shel disagrees with
2) mention something the poster said
3) expand on how that's wrong by pulling a ridiculous and unreasonable thought from the quoted post that no one would agree with (especially the poster)
4) continue with thought pulled from LF
5) continue with thought pulled from LF
6) continue with thought pulled from LF

As for my own opinions regarding NDL:F, I made comments before about how the league should have been able to make decisions and it never was up to us (refer to #3 in shel diagram for the rest of this sentence) maybe because the contingent never wanted the rest of the group to be in on the decisions to help their collective agenda.

At this point, I'm grateful that NDL:F has kept the league running and surviving and I continue to play because of the group we have not because I like the game or want to play because truthfully I hate everything about the ps3 and I realize i waste money and time on it every year.

The way things were handled back in the day were questionable because league-related things weren't put up for the league to decide on, instead it was the group of people who seized control after the creator disappeared (reminds me of French Revolution type shit without the guillotine) who made the decisions.

Clearly those decisions worked well enough to keep us going and that's great, but I can certainly understand Block's opinion because I shared (notice the big "d") it and I know plenty of others were concerned as well.


....if you didn't notice, I went jsence on everything to make it obvious that I'm not trying to turn this into a 30pg shel debate although we're already 17 deep and I'm sure that it'll happen
