well why can't we just keep the keepers that are in this round and have other people draft around those? that would solve that....

If you get a player that was supposed to be kept in a later round by another team you just trade them to that team for the player that team got that round (or a different player that was autodrafted on the other team if you agree on that).

Couldn't that work?

Because then you have guys who maybe were deciding to keep Round 3 vs Round 10, and went with their Round 10 guy for value; so now he's screwed out of his keeper. That's not fair to people.

At this pace, we'll be done with the draft tomorrow anyways so let's just hunker down and get it done.

With that said, I'm back online... I don't have many lists, so I can't really invoke the timer. But I'll do my best to update what is posted and notify people the rest of the evening.

I'd put everyone on half hour until then; once we get the lists we go back to 15 min.

I'm around until about 10EST. I'll try to keep up with the draft and make my picks. Tomorrow I should be able to get my picks in fairly easy. I just need to swing by my computer and refresh every now and then during class.

I'm down for a list. The only player I really want specifically is Chris Wilcox and then I just want the best available PG, SF, and any big after that, in that order.

thats what i'm saying anyone who has keepers in these last rounds keeps their guys, everyone else can auto pick around them

That won't work, because if you do autopick then if one of those keepers is the "best available", then the computer will assign them to someone automatically and it messes everything up.

Now personally, I have one guy I still want to get, MAYBE two, after that I don't really care....but I know some guys in here will. Dave is getting all the lists to Reign so we should be moving at a good pace again shortly.

I don't have a lot of lists. But even if you're going to go best avail, please send me an AIM so I can mark it down and move on. You can do anything like just say, rnd 10, best pf, rnd 11 best C or just tell me to take the best available player at a position of need, like if you only have 1 C right now, I'll take a C for you. Whatever speeds it up.
