Initial takeaways:

- Nets will regret this but did what they had to
- Pels gonna be super fun to watch
- Utah is legit really good, Bog is huge addition
- Lebron had this planned out 2-3 years ago and Kawhi sat out in San Antonio to try to force hand to Lakers same way Davis did w Pels ... now they all gonna get there just a year later and with less surrounding pieces
- if heat give up serious pieces for Butler I’ll be bummed, if they don’t give up much and get rid of Waiters i like it

No I think Kawhi is from LA, probably never thought he’d win in Toronto and had this vision laid out to him by Magic, Lebron, AD and his uncle and all the other surrounding pieces and it made a ton of sense for him to try to be in a dream team in his dream location and now he’s going to go thru w it.

To me the Lakers with Lebron AD and Kawhi is like the next generation of Magic Kareem and Worthy

also theres no scenario where AD is the #3 option after being traded for, giving up all those assets, and kicking his $4 mil trade bonus especially if hes gonna test UFA next season. Sure he'll prolly get a Max regardless but doubt he'd wanna be in that situation

also why are we talking about Lebron like hes not about to be 35 in December. Age is undefeated. His body started breaking down last year and would probably expect same this yr. Kawhi needs load management. AD needs time off usually. Gonna be fun

I'm really holding out hope that Kawhi takes as long as he possibly can to make a decision, all the role players get signed up, then Kawhi chooses any team but the Lakers.
