Only took me 2 seasons to get rid of a blue rated 2B, and Michael Jordan seems untradeable at this point for anything of value despite being on pace for 5.5 WAR and not a huge contract.

I like Carrillo but DHs come easy these days and Booth is cool but we don't all love singles and doubles like you do George!!!!!

I love my singles and doubles guys. I'd rather have a guy hit 40 doubles and 20 HR's with a total of 190 total hits than a guy that hits 40 HR's and 20 doubles with 160 total hits.

but that's me, I'll never have a top HR hitting team. I love high ability on the base paths, extra base hits and stolen bases. It's worked out so far as far as my offense over the past 6 seasons, I just gotta get my pitching down and we could be dangerous

I’m getting too far ahead of my boots with all this winning talk and the Gods are listening always.

Back to my saloon!

Nah its way more fun when your team hits dingers

My old Steel City teams used to be all bats- chicks dig the longball

I still think its more of a money issue than anything tbh

Also i think we are way too much of a prospect hugging league (myself included) everyone is so scared to trade away the next potential Richard Todd

I do wonder what an expected value would be from a top 100 prospect, cant be much- maybe ~15 WAR? I think even thats being generous

Also people put way too much stock in if a guy is a “blue”

Some of them are only average and i would rather have a green or even a yellow guy that has certain attributes over an arbitrary color

This is all intertwined from having too much talent/not enough injuries
