Bowl system blows ass. Get a playoff
Or they could schedule more tough OOC games.

Or do you actually beleive the stuff about no one wanting to play them?

Pretty much.

They may be legitimately good this year, but the schedule just doesn't stack up.

It's funny, most people don't realize since 2004, Boise is something like 2-4 in bowl games and 6-7 against BCS schools.

Though, the past 2 seasons they've looked darn good, but we've never seen them in a tough conference playing really tough teams 3 consecutive weeks.
I would like to see Utah's numbers in that same time period. I bet they are better.

Well, there overall record definitely isn't better. But that can be attributed to the SOS.

Utah has 2 undefeated seasons just like Boise, and in a much tougher conference.

I don't believe anything except the fact that the bowl system sucks.

bcs win vs bama > bcs win vs tcu... just a fact

I agree with this. TCU is just meh.

But why???

They play 2 ranked teams including one top 10 and if they happen to win both, why schedule more??

You dont see the BCS schools scheduling harder OOC games and there conferences arent as great as they believe they are.

Schedule 2 ranked teams and go undefeated and go from there. The system we have in place sucks and until they make some minor twirks, we will never decisively have an answer regarding these non BCS schools like TCU,Utah, and Boise.

And it was also a MUCH more impressive win than Boise over Oklahoma, but Boise's was just much more flashy.

just checked, and they are 2-4 in the last 6 bowl games, but the losses are for a combined 14 points. While looking, I found that they are 104-13 since joining I-A. The worst season they had was 2005 at 9-4. I am sure most of those wins are not against anyone worthwhile, but the record is still impressive

What happened the last 2 times Boise went undefeated? Did they play for a title? That's why.

And BCS conferences don't have to do it because there conferences are about 1000 times tougher than the WAC.

Just because a Clemson or a Tennessee is unranked, doesn't mean it's like playing LATech week in and week out. It's infinitely tougher.

Right, but thats on the current system we have, not on Boise.

Sure they should continue to schedule tough games but to fault a team in ANY sport where you go undefeated and dont even have a CHANCE to play for a shot at a title is ridiculous.

Im not saying Boise is the greatest team in the NCAA but the system is whacked out where teams like Utah and Boise can have huge seasons and big wins in BCS games and not even get a chance to show themselves for a title.

The system is flawed. Im not for a full blown playoff but when you go undefeated and there isnt a chance to compete for a title, there is something wrong.

Well, so far Boise is the most impressive team I've seen all week. Granted I did not see Oregon or Alabama play but Florida looked like shit, LSU looked like shit, OU looked like shit.

It is a long season though boys! The WAC is tough this year! :D

Tech needs to put some kind of points up here before the half or I think this one may be over.

One thing that is standing out and its obvious that front seven for Boise is killing Tech up front and the Tech Offense/ST has killed it for the Tech defense which is actually not playing too poorly. Been put on the field on their half of the field all night.

i used to be ant-Boise, but there's nothing you can say when they're playing VT and Oregon State in regards to OOC scheduling.

BCS college football schedules seem like they only have 3 tough games on them from team to team, unless you do drugs like whoever does the schedule for Miami, so it's almost to the point for me where conferences don't matter as long as you have a certain number of "big" games

...and fuck reese davis
