He made a comment in the past that most students come to a school like OSU to play football, but he came to play football and get an education.
he wants an education?? The same guy who tweeted about going to school for football and not classes??
Don't shoot the messenger, just relaying what he said in this press conference.

The reason I am shocked, most likely, J.T. Barrett will be our starter.
So Jones will be a backup.
I would think, that his stock is probably as high as it will be right now.
I also understand though as during the live conference, he said that education is more important to him and it will take him further than football will.
He said football is a stepping stone to his education.
Well... He is a babby daddy now, so maybe that changed his views on life.
I'd think that'd be more reason to leave, but obviously he sees it differently.

It's more competition for Braxton if he stays, and I don't think he can beat out Barrett and Jones anymore. I fully expect him to transfer.

Isn't LSU getting the test taker from Notre Dame?

I have never understood when a kid says he wants to stay in college and get an education. If you are making millions of dollars what makes them think they will not be able to get an education then? For him, he should go pro. His stock will never be this high, unless injuries force him into the starter role again and he performs the way he did over the last 3 games.

Kentucky's Braylon Heard declaring for the draft kind of baffles me. I believe it said he had 400 yards rushing this season. Jason, whats the deal with the former Husker

On the flip side, Heard is scheduled to graduate this spring, so he just might not see any point in either returning to Kentucky for another season or transferring elsewhere.

True, didn't think of it that way.
I don't think he gets drafted though. If he does it will be very late and he may be a practice squad player for a while unless he overwhelms the scouts at his pro day or combine if he gets there.
