Penn State jumps out to a 28-0 lead in the first half, adds another TD early in the 2nd half, and never looked back as they defeat South Alabama 42-28 in the national championship. South Alabama got all four of their touchdowns in the final nine minutes, as Penn State looked to simply run out the clock, keep everything in front of them, and keep opponent inbounds.
Heisman winning QB Brad Williams went 15/23 for 239 yds and 3 TDs, and also rushed for another one on a 15 yard QB keeper on third and long in the redzone. He threw three INTs (having thrown only 8 the entire season), but his defense countered that with three INTs of their own, including one key one early in the 2nd half in the redzone. But it was their play in the first half, forcing two three and outs to start the game, then getting a pick on USA's third drive, followed by by another three and out. USA would only gain one first down in the entire half, which killed any chances they had of winning the game.
WR Ernest Wade was a key part of the victory, catching 5 passes for 131 yards, including the game-icing TD late to put Penn State up 42-21. The coaching staff saw during planning that he would be matched up with a 5'10" CB, and he was able to get past him numerous times catching some key passes. The coaching staff now holds their breath to see if he--along with Thomas Berry, Williams, and former Heisman winner Carlos Gibson--will return or go pro.

I'm going out of town early Sunday morning and won't be back until Friday. We can advance into the off season / pre season, but won't be able to get any further then pre season until I get back.
I plan on just moving slowly through this off season stuff due to that reason.

Man, Alabama is a tempting offer.....but I'm going to stay where I'm at. Wish I knew who I was going to lose in the draft.
That said, this might be my final season coming up.

I'll move us on to the next user at 730 tomorrow morning.
Remember, if I am forced to make the decision my only options are "Accept New Position" or "Force To Stay", which means you are REJECTING all offers.

That sucks for those of us that can't log into the site because if we reject the first offer we do t get the option for others.

This surprised me. I thought you might try to hold out for Florida since I stated I'd be looking at leaving.
No worries on the delay, I was just trying to point out to Luis he'd have plenty of time.

nick is up. Florida State is knocking.
Was a tough decision. Really had to think about that for a few minutes but ultimately turned down the FSU job.
