Also, really loving Howard Palmer's defensive range dropping from 52 to 34 this offseason... He's only 29.

Hoping this range issue is solved in 21.

while 29 isnt 30.. theres evidence that OFs drop off a cliff in real life when they hit 30 so who knows. I remember looking this up before and 2 seasons ago in the MLB only 6 OFs 30+ had a positive OF rating. Range and the OF is a young man's game.

Yeah. I'm not saying it shouldn't have dropped, since he's been slowly losing 2 or 3 range every year (totally realistic) but that is a MASSIVE drop.

Interesting tid bit. Thanks for that. I feel like these are things that we always feel like are BS when it comes to OOTP because its not something we really pay attention to IRL. While in reality its quite accurate.

Still seems to me like we have to many outfielders from the draft that don't have range either.

Hey guys, new LV owner here! Name is Joel Vivian but everyone calls me JV. Not only am I a newb to the league, but I'm a complete newb to the game, so apologies for my ignorance of it all in advance. I'm from Philly and am a big Phillies fan (Goodbye Kapler, hello Girardi). Professionally I'm in Finance, so if anyone wants to talk business or stocks, I'm always up for it. Looking forward to jumping in the league and figuring it all out. I've played Football Manager for years, but could never came across a decent Baseball or NFL sim game... Not sure how I never heard of this one! Thanks in advance for any help you give me in getting up to speed.
