Although when the trade approved and the timing of the draft on a holiday weekend, Niddler probably should get his Guy back

Niddler hasn't exported since May 25th

It would be unfair to every single other team that spent a pick as it would change the entire outcome of the draft based on order and selections.

He may be able to work a trade out with Baker but as in the past, you are responsible for your teams and being aware of what is going on.

Lmao, yeah because that's the precedence that was set over all these years. You realize may 25th was Thursday, Friday trade, Saturday rule 5. If he had to leave on a Holiday trip he wouldn't have been able to move those guys to his team

And who cares if it's a holiday weekend. You know its rule 5 sim. You can pm anyone and they would be happy to take 26 seconds and help out. There just is not an excuse for rule 5 stuff and I bet JD will agree with this.

We have not moved anyone back in multiple seasons if I am remembering correctly so quit bringing up irrelevant old shit.

I have exported after every single sim!
I protected all of my Rule 5 guys after Wednesday or Thursday this past week.

When did Lucero get on my team?

So 4 or 5 exports didn't take?

Seems you forgot about them on your list for 2 sims and they sat in DFA and you never protected them.

I didn't export on Saturday, you are correct there. My last export was Friday.
My son and Niece's Birthday party at my parents Saturday so I was not near a computer with mother and father-in-law in from out of town staying with us, I didn't get to a pc last night after the party either, so that is on me.

But I would have to assume that the commissioner would help a brother out and realize he was literally just placed on my team.

I just did this trade, which says Done 5/27, which is Saturday, yesterday!

Am I to do that for every team that just made a trade before the Rule 5?

We have also said tough, you knew timelines and you are also responsible for your teams.

If I just give him back to you, Baker now gets nothing when he could have gotten a guy in the draft due to your mistake. I don't agree with that.

Work out a deal with Baker if you want but Rob suffered in the past among others. Sorry but I don't think its fair to penalize others due to your busyness and not exporting on one of the most important sims.

Coug seems to agree with you though so maybe others do as well and I am taking a harder stance than most.

Which means you should have been aware they would be sitting in DFA and need to be moved before today sim which took later in the morning than usual as well.

If you were busy, you could have PM'd as well.

Explain to Baker why he gets screwed.

I could completely understand if I ignored it for 4-5 sims and then, too bad for me.
This was literally done yesterday in the trade.

Sounds like that didn't happen.

Again, I could see if it was even Friday's sim and then I didn't protect him, but in the end, it is ultimately my responsibility.
So shame on me.
I will be sure to give instructions next time to include him in active roster as part of the trade and this wouldn't have happened.
And that would have happened too, if it wasn't the offseason.

It is all good though, I will ask Baker and if not, oh well, shit on me.

All I know is, we better be taking this stand on all these types of things going forward.

And we have been so thanks for recognizing that.
