this is the bigger issue...not at all that George is a republican but the fact that everyone in politics should be "independent" so politicians cant win elections without speaking to all the important issues
listen you Transhumanist.. dont you know you cant be ok with guns and ok with people aborting a fetus? its one or the other!!!

Protesting by destroying your own community is like a Chapelle "when keeping it real goes wrong" skit.

its terrible but the flip side is....
how many black people have to die before anything happens? It happens and nothing gets done to the cop.. its swept under and its never dealt with.. again and again.. and theyre finally sick of it.
im not saying im advocating for violence but ill tell you the truth.. if my dad was that man who died, that cop would be dead by now. and im sure a lot of ppl feel the same way.

An accused looter shot and killed outside a pawnshop. Pawnshop owner arrested immediately on suspicion of murder.
The 4 cops still free. How is it not super obvious why the protests keep escalating

I don't get this comment and eye roll.
Who in here has insinuated that they don't know why they are protesting?

Thus the reason why there wasn't a quote attached to the post.... It wasn't directed at anyone here in particular. Just a statement on why the cops are still not in custody to try and diffuse the situation.
And the eye roll was for the pawnshop owner arrested immediately vs the cops still free.

In a news conference on Thursday, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said that despite the horrific video of George Floyd’s death, “there is other evidence that does not support a criminal charge” against the police officer involved. Attorney Freeman is investigating the death of Floyd, a Black man who died when he was pinned to the ground by a Minneapolis police officer. His office later issued a clarification, saying “it is critical to review all the evidence” to adequately prepare for trial.

Not really sure of the official reason but they say it was because the didn't move when asked.... The video doesn't really show em doing anything like that tho so I dunno.
