The fact the line moving that fast up from 3.5 to 6 is pretty telling

With that said, being undefeated, defending champs, having an experienced qb and coach and great overall talent is a lot of boxes checked to start to let the hype train get too out of control in LSU direction. On the flip side, the ACC was brutal and LSU offense looks as good as any team in memory. It’s gonna take a special game to keep up.

I’d probably stay away from the game but if I had to bet I’d go with LSU if line is under 6.5 and probably wouldn’t hop on Clemson unless it was 10 +

I'm confident in LSU but Clemson certainly scares me a good bit.

Georgia's defense seems to be on the same level as Clemson or close to it, and we had no issues at all scoring on them. Probably could have gone a good bit over 37 but the game was over pretty early.

On the flip side, LSU's defense was a bit of a question mark and had some injuries most of the season, but they're peaking at the right time. Their last 3 games they've given up 7 to A&M, 10 to Georgia and 28 to Oklahoma. And had we not scored 49 in the 1st half, I imagine we could kept OU in the 17-21 range. And even at 28, Lincoln Riley hasn't scored under 28 in any game in his 3 seasons, so that is the lowest they've ever scored(they've done it a few times) under Riley so even 28 suggests the defense played well.

But...Clemson has won 29 in a row. :|

the fact we're trying to find reasons to like a team that has won 29 in a row and won the championship last year (easily) certainly suggests the LSU hype train is in full swing.

My post was trying to find reasons to like LSU because 29 is all I need to know to put fear into my confidence.

The Rose bowl always looks like the most glorious place to play football in the world.

Fun start already.

FBS teams were 0-471 when trailing by 13 points with 5 minutes to go this season before the Vols came back against Indiana

I love these kinds of stats.

Also seems near impossible that no one came back with 2 quick, late TDs 471 times in a row, I never woulda guessed that.

I think it was ESPN stats and info that tweeted it out so I assume they did the homework

I was there. The second that PAT boinked off the upright I knew by how many points IU would lose. That’s IU football.

They’ve lost their last three bowl games by 3, 2, and 1 points so I’m pretty excited about that tie in their next one, whenever that may be.

The Vols outplayed them so badly in the first half and gave it away only being up 3. Then the Hoosiers outplayed the Vols even more for the first 25 minutes of the 2nd half before the comeback. Just a really wild ending to a really wild season for the Vols

I don't know if his style fits the SEC. The press conferences are going to be epic though! I never watched football that long to watch them while he was at WSU

His style not fitting the SEC is why it will be entertaining to watch.
