I believe we can move them on/off the 25 man at any time.

Poor Dave.
Has one of the best teams in the history of his franchise and he put it all in my hands to get the job done.
He gave me a motivational speech, said have fun, no pressure and asked me not to quit anytime during the playoffs.
I'll do my best!!

Re: 2027 - Season - Here We Go Again! (Ready 2/26)
The Aces finish the season an even 81-81. It's hard to say I am disappointed considering it's a 13 game improvement over last season. Now hopefully we can continue to improve and compete for for a wild card next season.
Pitching rundown:
The two young starters in my rotation were spectacular this season. Victor "Nails" Romo went 13-9 2.56 in 193 innings. Brian "Champ" Goff went 11-14 (due to a rough start to the season) 3.96 ERA in 207 innings.
Rob Borhorst turned out to be a great bargain signing for me. He had a rough start to the year but really turned it around and finished the year 15-9 with a 3.83 ERA.
At 39 years old people wondered what the Aces were thinking by allowing SP Paul Rogers to collect his extension at 4.8mil. He turned out to be a bargain as he went 13-10 with a 3.82 ERA in 221.2 innings. This guy just seems to get better with age, and in fact, just asked me for a 4 year extension! Gotta love this guy.
Trade deadline acquisition Melvin Lewis turned out to be a terrific addition to the starting rotation. He went 7-5 with an ERA of 3.13 as a member of the Aces. Between the Aces and the Surf Dogs combined he was 17-10 with a 2.81 ERA in 2027. The Aces would like to bring him back to help us compete next season, the challenge is finding room for his 12 million dollar contract.
The bullpen was up and down this season. While they have won us their fare share of games, they have also cost us quite a few wins. Jerry "Guns" Madison who was probably our best reliever last season really finished off the season poorly bringing is numbers to a disappointing 5-7 4.42 ERA 1.40 WHIP. He is however still striking out a ton as he whiffed 111 in 91.2 innings.
We really need a lefty specialist in the bullpen and when 28 year old Jin-Guo Zhao became available on the waiver wire in the offseason we just knew we need to take a chance on this guy, and it paid off.Zhao pitched 47 fantastic innings for us going 2-0 1 SV 2.68 ERA 1.04 WHIP 18 BB 44 K.
Pete Bader came in as a mid season acquisition from the LOLCats. He gave us just what we expected. Bader was 3-4 3 SV 2.84 ERA 1.18 WHIP in 63.1 Innings for 2027. Hopefully the Aces can find a deal that works for both teams so we can have Bader in our bullpen for 2028.
We decided to sign a veteren closer to give out young closer Jerry Porter a year in AAA, that veteran was lefty Lorenzo Sanchez. Sanchez had an up and down season. He finished with an impressive 37 saves, however his ERA rose up to 3.92 due to inconsistencies. Our hope is that Sanchez can bring the heat as our setup man for 2028 with Porter being introduced as out new closer. That could always change depending on how these pitchers perform.
Offensive rundown:
The Aces had a very young lineup this season. 1B Leonard Roberts was terrific as our cleanup hitter going .271/339/456 with 24 homers 100 RBI and 43 doubles.
Rookie Dales Turner also had a nice season but it was unfortunately shortened due to an oblique strain. In 107 games the 25 year old finished with .256/.303/.483 with 25 homers and 89 RBI.
While Steve "The Jerk" Martin started off slow he really came on towards the end and even though he didn't have the power numbers this year he was still consistently one of my best hitters ever sim. Matin finished with .292/.367/.444 with 18 homers, 67 RBI and 31 doubles.
Our big FA aquisition C Bill McMinn was great behind the plate for us. Unfortunately a torn hamstring put him on the 60 day DL meaning he only played in 100 games for us. McMinn finished .289/.361/.435 with 12 homers and 57 RBI.
Our biggest surprise this season is the emergence of 2B Mike Simpson. We have always know Simpson to be a terrific fielder, and he has showed glimpses of being a terrific hitter, however this season he established himself as a great all around players. He finished with.276/.351/.449 with 13 homers 81 RBI, 58/57 BB/KK, 52 2B.
We are all in all pleased with the season and look forward to 2028 when we have new young superstars SP Eddie "Candy O'Neal and OF Cris Sanchez, as well as the return of CL Jerry Porter.
I don't feel like typing anymore so I'll just say good luck to all the teams in the playoffs and watch out next year because I'll be right there!
Great season fellas!!

Good write up.
Good luck to everyone tonight ... Corey is in there for my replacement ... I'll have my cell on me but don't wait on me for anything. If I don't reply in a timely manner just use best discretion and Corey can make any calls on my behalf

After seriously considering it, trading for Ledespencer was a useless trade.
