Over 55% of all deaths have been in the 75 and older age group.

Over 40% (and up to 55% in some studies) of all hospitalizations are due to non-COVID reasons.

So yea, p(l)andemic

You can always identify as a cat, then you can get Covid 8 times before you die.

It's not what I said. I'm just putting into perspective the number you threw out there. Over half the deaths have occurred after the vaccine was introduced.

.0013 or .013 (will have to look it up) of all deaths occured in the 0-17 age group. Why are we forcing all kids to get the vaccine? They are not in the at risk category.

But the boosters will prevent that right?

I still can't believe there are people still arguing to keep everyone socially distanced, masked and jabbed multiple times. It's always the older white liberal female that wants to keep shit locked down. Sorry lady, you happen to be in the "at risk" group, so stay masked, get your jab(s) and socially distance. Otherwise let the rest of us get on with our lives. She still wants remote learning, lower capacity in buildings, mask mandates....etc

She doesn't like facts:

As of 10 February, there have been 2,872,370 cases among the 75+ age group with a mortality rate of 9.4% (they make up 30% of all COVID deaths in the US and 65+ makes up 74% of all deaths).
Contrarily, 18-49 age group (ommitted the under 18 as it would skew the percentage even lower) has had a total of 30,889,047 cases with a mortality rate of 0.2% of all cases in that age group (just over 62k deaths). 66% of the population is under 50 and only account for 26% of the deaths.

My grandmother just had Covid and is still breathing. She turns 99 in April. I'm pretty impressed.

We should be a little more worried on why the CDC hasn't released data that they have on the 18-49 year old age group when it pertains to boosters. Here are some articles for you to read:
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/20/heal ... -data.html
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... 18-49.html

We should also be questioning the "hospitalization" numbers that the CDC provides. In Massachusetts, 47.8% were incidental COVID hospitalizations. Meaning they went in with a broken bone or a heart attack and after testing were found out to have COVID.
https://www.boston.com/news/coronavirus ... hat-means/

50 to 65 percent of their hospitalized covid patients actually had incidental covid.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/ ... ncidental/

Roughly two-thirds of COVID-positive patients at hospitals run by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Services were admitted for something other than the virus.

What's to question? We know the latest variants are very minor, so those numbers make sense it seems.

They only provide how many are hospitalized. That number is false. Everyone gets tested, and if you show up with a broken bone or heart attack and you test positive (without symptoms) you are added to that hospitalization number., that same big scary number MSNBC and CNN like to tout Local governments are using hospitalization rates, as well as new cases, as a basis for mandates. If 40%-60% of all "hospitalizations" are incidental then why are we mandating remote learning, masks, social distancing...etc? That is why you question it.

I'm trying to find the articles from October/November regarding incidental hospitalizations prior to Omnicron. Roughly the same numbers

Prior to Omicron

The Lancet from Nov 1st, 46% were incidental hospitalizations in their small study:

https://www.thelancet.com/article/S1473 ... 2/fulltext

40%-45% incidental rate from May of last year in pediatric cases in California:

https://www.theatlantic.com/health/arch ... ng/620062/

In September, 1 in 4 hospitalizations were incidental:

https://kdvr.com/news/data/1-in-4-covid ... -to-covid/

These hospitalizations at case rates were the reason for many liberal cities to lock everything down. As we can see, those numbers lied to all of us because the CDC didn't have the foresight to provide actual numbers rather than the scare tactic of total "hospitalizations"

Well, I can't get behind that as a White Sox fan. Hope it doesn't break her heart when the Sox win the division

Man in Germany received around 90 COVID shots so he could sell the Vaccination cards.

This man should donate his body to science once he is dead.
