My rookie team is always a disaster. We get way too many rounds of new guys coming in when the previous batch isn’t ready for SA or any other level yet.

I take the oldest 20/20 guys and cut them from the previous draft class, that'll knock out 15 right there.

Prosper ever going to get out of the starting gate this season? Thought they were the team to beat in the AL West.

Glitch in the matrix it feels like.

We improved our biggest area of need, pitching. Same stacked offense but the boys are just sputtering along.

I expected big things. They aint happening yet.

We have also blown 9 saves so theres that too.

Me too!

I have a guy who led the league in ERA last season with a sub 3.00 ERA and now he's above 7.50 ERA. His ratings gone up before the season and he has 3 blue pitches. This is why I build my team around hitting and not pitching

This game punishes bad defense to an extreme, basically why i'm running a guy with 98 range at shortstop who can't hit a lick

My team defense doesn't suck. 3rd in efficiency and 4th in ZR.

He's added a walk per 9 and has lost a K per 9. His HR/9 has gone from .6/9 to 2.8/9

His ratings are exactly the same as last season.

This is why I don't normally spend any money on pitching, and when I do they either decrease or have serious injuries.

hitting > pitching

I think he just had good luck one year and is having bad luck this year

he'll go out every 5th game until his arm falls off and just hope we get enough hitting to offset his bad pitching

I agree though hitting is the way to go- just way more predictable
