I had a video that I thought I saved to send to the group, but I guess I messed up. Anyway... I was uphill about 20', false front, and about 40' from the pin... so I figured I'd toss it up, over the hole, then spin it back, just to be safe. Instead, I pitched it up, beaned the pole on the fly and the ball flew back down to me. Harsh.

Leader of the TGC beer league this week shot a 51 in a round. 21 under lol. WTF??? I have noticed an overwhelming majority of the top scorers play on PC.

You guys still playing this? I wouldn't mind joining but I'd have to get it on PC (don't have a PS4) can I still play in the league or is PS4 only?

From what I've read it is not cross platform

Had to be Dan. Haven't looked today but that is definitely a Dan score.

I know my skill level and I just try to get 2nd or 3rd in the Beer League and 5th thru 7th in the NDL league.

TGC, not yours. I just got on their website to see what his country was and if he was on PC, and now his scores aren't there. He was leading at -66 and now the leader is -58.

Yeah they have some internal set up where they know if the swing planes are too “perfect” and not possibly created by humans and if it detects that they kick out those scores.

And ya a lot of them are pc guys who are putting up the big scores but not all.

I just found it interesting. I'm enjoying all the societies so far. Good variety of courses and fun to have some competition not involving the AI. Last time I checked I was tied for 29th with a -29 in the TGC Tours out of 70 players. I'll take that for sure.

if anyone wants to suggest courses that they would like to see included in season 4, it will be much easier to set up.

i realize its a ways away, and i still have a few more to add to the current season but i was thinking i'd make a running list or something like that

You should take a look at the Beer League. I only add top rated courses for the week. It's a lot faster turnaround than yours but it gives you an idea of some amazing courses. We just did a course, can't remember the name...something Canyon. Don't do that one. Not sure why it was so highly rated but it was something I could have made.

Dan has played quite a few courses over there as well, he can give you some input with those as well. I'll try to come up with a list for you of the courses we have played.

Geiranger GC, Norway
Lupine Cove, Nova Scotia
Sky Peaks
Kong Valley
Old Stones
Garden of Eden
Her Majesty's Open
Tierra Dorada
Sumersett GC (LIDAR)
Cape Canary


The course I was talking about in the above post is Pinehurst Canyon. Not a well designed course

several of those we have already had, or are already on the current schedule

I played a course once where you had to shoot through the hole in a mountain to get to the green. Also played a hole where one green had nothing but waterfalls all around it and another where the green was actually a sand trap and you had to hit sand shots to hole it out. Some pretty messed up stuff.
