nick wrote:Maybe a cool way to do fa is thru the forums. When I was in this SIM league for basketball we had a forum and during offseason would post seperate threads for each player and people would bid (publicly).

You can then either have it so each player ends a certain time or if no one bids for 24 hours they win.

Just a thought
Who determines which deal is the best deal?

Me neither...

Everyone doesn't always take the most guaranteed money.

I have no recollection of making that offer lol.

The only thing I remember, I offered a guy. Then accidentally hit Meet Demand so I didn't export after that... or did I?

My GM skills have been so bad these past few seasons.

Only time I helped out was when arb changed.

Why would you deserve a bailout for offering the wrong amount to someone and not even reaching out about it as you said you don't remember making the offer?
Not trying to be a jerk, just asking the question.

I was joking... jerk :)

I'll live with the blunder. Like Nick mentioned, if he performs like last season for the next 3 years or so, I'll take it.

Going thru some scouting reports for some of my guys in the minors. I ran across this gem:

(He is 15/27 in the Eye/Discipline and 40/58 in the Avoid K's.)

EYE:
Swings early and often, often disregarding whether or not the pitcher has thrown the ball. Won't make it far as a hitter.

I actually giggled out loud when I read that.

You don't know that, I've been after Cobb from the beginning. He wants to win.
