After watching yesterday, not completely. I don't want to be one of those idiots who writes off a guy after one game, especially given the state of the entire Colts roster. But yesterday was disconcerting for a couple reasons. Luck missed Wayne wide open a couple times with huge overthrows. He also seemed panicky in the pocket. I know this is to be expected with him being a rookie, but he has been sold as "The most pro ready QB to enter the league in ___________ years" for the last two years. What makes that worse is that Griffin looked infinitely more "pro ready" than Luck yesterday. Then to top it off, Manning was Manning last night. Like I said, I'm not going to write him off and start complaining. I watched every game of Manning's rookie season when he set a record for INT's by a rookie (if I remember correctly). But it was disconcerting.

RG3 had such a better game plan in place by their coordinator as well.
They started him with nothing but quick slants and little screens to his small, speedy receivers until he got more in the groove of the game and started going down field.
They also called some option like plays to get him comfortable and he just looked flawless in that first game. Part of that is maybe the Saints D is that bad but man he looked good.
Luck had a tough opener in Chicago against a veteran D in a tough spot. I think he will be fine, he showed some nice flashes and will grow to the speed of the game.

also, shannahan is coaching and gameplanning RG3 while Luck has Pagano (i think thats their coach now). big difference.

I didn't see the play, but I can only assume that Dalton threw the ball right to Ed Reed.

I smiled a little inside.

Chris Berman has to be the most ignorant PBP guy in the media.
Ball gets coughed up a good three feet into the air and caught by a San Diego player.
Ten seconds later, Berman says something about the Chargers saying they have the football, like he's surprised. THE GUY CAUGHT THE DAMN FUMBLE AFTER HE JUMPED INTO THE AIR!
And then you have Trent "We will have to see if Mariani's injury is too bad to let him return to the game" Dilfer who is just as mindless working with him.
I need to find a radio broadcast to listen to.

Rivers is one of my least favorite players in the NFL. Screwed me in fantasy last year, and now he's already screwed me on a bet.
Should've completed one of those two passes, my over would've hit.

Replacement refs!!!!!
There's a video showing the Redskins started their possession after a touchback, and 3rd down was from about a foot or so short of the 25. After the 12 men on the field, the Redskins magically got 5 yards...and a first down.
/sour grapes

That twelve men on the field call was awful. How slow did the Saints guy react after making the tackle where it took him 35+ seconds to jog across the field to his own sideline?

Not sure who that was, that bum!!!
That cost us 3 points, pretty sure, the dumb play and subsequent bad call.
