As much as I love the hometown guy, for whatever reason, even after playing awesome in the 2nd half of last season, Monty Williams rarely ever played Thornton this season before the trade.
So, if we weren't gonna play him, I'm happy getting Landry back for him. Huge upgrade...again considering what Thornton was for us at the time.
Also, in no way am I saying Belinelli is better and he has stunk it up big time in the playoffs so far, but since the trade Beli has gone for 49%/47%/82%. Carl Landry and a starting SG shooting 47% from 3 for a backup SG who never played with the Hornets, I'll take it lol.

i think the arena started shaking after that one, unless the cameraman went cloverfield style
...and i agree with the Marcus Thornton being an absolute stud in Sactown stuff. He was the reason they started to remember that they don't automatically lose every game, but if he's not playing in NOLA then I understand why they traded his ass

No, he's got inside knowledge so he's allowed to use acronyms and nicknames. His gambling record speaks for itself.

how does Kobe get away with this stuff?
he's a 'gametime decision' after refusing an MRI yesterday. lol, how does that make anysense?
now tonight he's going to be faux limping until he starts getting going then we'll all claim he's a warrior for 'fighting thru a bad injury' or he'll struggle and limp more and more all game like he always does (looking for an out) and then he'll have an excuse if they drop a game tonight.
i hope Chris Paul crosses him over and makes him fall down just to see how bad he holds the ankle.

Simple for me. Lots of people said he was faking or really embellishing during the game. I was one of the few actually saying I really thought he was hurt pretty good.
But in light of this news, I'm changing my stance lol.
I'm fairly certain if management really thought it was a potential issue, they would have forced him to get it evaluated. The fact that he was allowed to refuse the MRI tells me that the injury is no big deal, which insinuates that he played it up during game 4, and I won't be surprised if he shows an obvious limps but only when walking down the court or walking towards the sideline after the whistle is blown.
I'm hoping he goes into hero mode to try and have his injury moment like MJ had a few of them. Kobe in hero mode is a GREAT thing for the Hornets, despite what the "assassin" folks believe.

I am no Kobe fan but the fact you guys are saying he is embellishing his injury is a little bit silly.

Like I said, I didn't the night of the injury.
You don't think it means the injury is somewhat minimal since management just was completely ok with him not getting it evaluated?
