Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman responded to a letter from a little girl with a hearing impairment.
The father of the girl tweeted out the touching letter on Tuesday.
In it she wrote, "I know how you feel. I also have hearing aids...I have faif [sic] in you."
Coleman tweeted his response.
He thanked the girl and said if she and her family were ever in Seattle, he'd love to "get together and play some sports or games."
He told the girl, "Even though we wear hearing aids, we can still accomplish our goals and dreams."

Re: NFL Thread
I really like looking at Erin Andrews but every time I watch this interview I cant stand the stankface she is putting on when he starts talking and her follow up question.
This video just makes me like this guy even more.

Sound FX on NFL Network played last night from both games. Craptree was talking all night, talking to the crowd, etc. Sherman went up, patted him on the rear and said "Nice Game" with hand out for a shake, LMAO. Craptree shoved him in the face, I would too, but that just made me laugh...

As smart as Sherman is, He knew anything he said to Cranberry juice would make him respond in some way. I have been involved with many smartass congratulations after my team beat another and I have received my fair share as well.

Re: NFL Thread
I dont blame Crabtree either for his actions.
If you are going to go with a sarcastic ass slap and congratulatory hand shake seconds after a huge play lost my team the Super Bowl shot, dont expect nothing less than something coming at you.
If we are giving Sherman a pass due to emotions, adrenaline, and the like I dont blame Crabtree for doing the same on the other side.

Re: NFL Thread
Kind of different as I dont think he verbally attacked a specific player.
He actually became a GIF icon and everyone laughed.

Re: NFL Thread
I'm firmly on Sherman's side on this one. The only thing that irks me is how he's playing it off as he was being a good sport when he went to shake Crabtree's hands. C'mon, we all know what the deal was there.Cnasty wrote:I dont blame Crabtree either for his actions.

Lebby made a great point regarding how amazing it is how this story has blown up and how much hatred Sherman is getting...Is this Sherman deal really THAT much different than when Peyton Manning went off on the "liquored up, idiot kicker" when talking about Vanderjagt?

Re: NFL Thread
I agree with you and you nailed it with his "genuine" good game and sportsman excuse. We all know that wasnt the case.
Im just saying dont expect Crabtree not to react in a manner in which he did for some of the same reasons Sherman is getting a pass.
2 different things I think.
Sherman being villified is ridiculous by everyone is what I am with you on and 100% agree.
I was speaking more towards how Crabtree reacted and people being surprised by it.

Re: NFL Thread
Yea, i may not have been clear there in that last post, I was definitely agreeing with you.
That has to be the 1st time a player throws the first "punch" with Crabtree slapping Sherman's helmet, but the person being slapped getting the penalty, and deservedly so.
I don't blame Crabtree one bit either. I have no idea how he showed that much constraint. Given the situation, and your season just ended 10 seconds before, there wouldn't have been much of a significant penalty if he just went off on Sherman there.

I know you're joking but Richard Sherman being the best corner in the league is just as fact as the idiot kicker is a liquored up, idiot.ajalves wrote:shel311 wrote:Is this Sherman deal really THAT much different than when Peyton Manning went off on the "liquored up, idiot kicker" when talking about Vanderjagt?
