There is troubling news for those infected with the COVID-19 virus. New studies have found that the virus may cause diabetes in addition to pneumonia and other health problems.
New research from Stanford University School of Medicine and Weill Cornell Medicine confirmed the association between COVID-19 and diabetes. By analyzing autopsy samples from people who died of COVID-19, both studies illustrated the virus’s ability to infect pancreatic beta cells, decrease insulin secretion and effectively yield type 1 diabetes.

as was the absolute dismissal of the possibility of it working and saving lives.
But doctors weren't acting on his words or going by Facebook posts to decide on a course of action, so removing the Facebook content didn't put people at risk.

You do know that the patient has some say in how they are treated right? The average Joe isn't reading medical journals and if you have doctor's on CNN/MSNBC saying this is snake oil the people that watch those shoes will never try them. Just like the people that watch Fox News were more apt to trying it because they didn't have an onslaught of doctor's on TV dismissing it.

My prior post today explicitly said that treatment is between doctor and patient, so yes, definitely already knew that. Granted, in these cases you're not making any decisions when you're on a ventilator. Maybe your family gets involved, if you have any. But I think you go with the doctor's recommendation when you're on deaths doorstep.
The actions taken regarding removing online posts were related to talk about how the treatment would prevent Covid. That lead to people wanting it for perfection - and no mister how much we both believe treatment involves the patient and doctor, no reasonable doctor was going to prescribe this drug for prevention.

The last two CNN articles were about treatment, not prevention. The doctors that stood in front of the capital building (or was it the supreme court?) that said zinc and hydoxycloroquine have saved lives after they were infected was branded as "off their rockers" by CNN and their doctors that they had on.

In April 2020, were there studies or evidence that the treatment worked? I thought this study just came out.

The vaccines are out without full FDA approval. I thought we were supposed to do whatever we could to save lives during a pandemic.

There were numerous reports and doctors that cited it wasn't beneficial for prevention or most treatment. That's what consistently made Trump mad at his press conferences.
Doing whatever you can doesn't include saying things like "It's a miracle, you take it, you get better.". There were no clinical trials at that time to support wild presumptions like that which were given with little context. It was, and should have been, still considered a last ditch option - which was good. Trump had clearly hoped it was the panacea for his reelection campaign.
Conversely, there were a great many trials for the vaccines.

Sweden will be introducing a lock down. It’s almost as if their plan didn’t work. .. ever
Checking in on Sweden...
Sweden’s overall mortality rate in 2020 was lower than most of Europe and its economy suffered far less. Meanwhile, today Sweden is freer and healthier than virtually any other country in Europe.

It's just all so stupid at this point.
The hospitalization/death rate on vaccinated people is so low, I just don't think it could possibly make less sense to have mandates and lockdowns at this point.
I have a vacation, a few concerts, and a dang Dude Perfect Live Tour to take my kids to all in the next 2 months, and I'm operating under the assumption that all of these will be cancelled. Again, so stupid.

At this point I think it's all a ruse to keep the voting the way it was during the pandemic.
Even better, Supreme Court ruled that the eviction moratorium can only be extended by passing a bill in Congress. CDC has issued that the moratorium should continue and the democrat leaders are letting it stand and the republican leaders aren't fighting it.

I give up. Bomb China and India. South America and UK too. And all the southern states that beg to be vaccinated on their death bed but act like it’s nothing before that.

Or...just go back to normal because the vaccine has proven to work.
