I'm a big time Marcelo fan. My favorite left back in the game.

He's a terrific player. One of the few guys on Madrid (or Barca for that matter) that I actually like.

Watching CR7 play like he is, and seeing how much United struggle.... :(

Btw, Rooney out for at least two months with a knee ligament issue.

I'm not certain losing Rooney will be as big of a loss as some think... Offensively United need to revolve around Martial, Mata, and Depay

It won't be a big loss... and most United fans that closely follow the team know this.

That's why there was no sad face

Now we'll see to see what Memphis/Martial/Mata can do.

Man U vs Arsenal will be big. I can't wait to watch that one. If they are gonna catch City, they need some results before they play them.

I'm interested to see how they attack their schedule. They have a good draw in europa league and should win without having to take it serious, same with FA Cup. At what point do they take the Europa League seriously?

Nobody takes Europa seriously. :-P

My issue is that LvG knows his job is done after this season, so it's really on the team to get their collective shit together and get back into the top 4.

nobody in England. Spain and Germany take it very seriously and you know that.

What happens if United is 10 points or more adrift in a few weeks and they win this round and then draw Sion in the Round of 16 and win. Now they are in the Round of 8 with no shot of top 4. Why not go for Europa League at that point?

Sadly, you're right... it might be the best path.

Tottenham takes it seriously. It's the only way they ever have a chance to get into UCL before this year

lost to some team in Norway, with like 4 Fs and 2 Js.

Not the end of the world result, they got an away goal, lost by one.
